Actually posting that gif got me thinking that it might be comparable to the Mr Weasley situation. IN Harry P he was the only good dad and in Teen Wolf Melissa is the only good mum. Alison's was a psycho, Kira's mum wont last the season, the mothers of the other wolves have been no existent so to kill her off would leave them with no maternal figure in the show at all. Unless Lydia becomes the mother to us all which would be hilarious

This death is so interesting. For the most part this show has been very progressive. They show Gay/Lesbian relationships with no problem and have Gay, Lesbian main characters. Even the whole hunter family being a female family led group was pretty interesting as well.

However that's whats interesting. The hunter family's are supposedly led by their females but they

True, but the thing is that Allison was supposed to survive until the end of the series. Crystal Reed wanted off the show, that's why they had to rewrite her character arc to kill her off here.
