Well, we have Kira, Noshiko, and Malia.
(And now Meredith, it seems.)
So unless there is more death, there will be a net addition of returning female characters from season to season, the first time that has happened.

I do think though, that Allison's death is because of Crystal not wanting to come back to the show. She was never really involved in much of the extra fan stuff, and it seems like she wanted to go. Even Jeff just said that he originally planned for Allison to survive the entire series. So this might be another Erica & Cora situation.

Edit: The video package on Wolf Watch seems to confirm that, but it seems like she just started to really open up to everyone after she knew she was leaving. ;_;

Is Malia coming back? She's only been in a couple of episodes.
 
Allison just didn't seem that important to the show lately, so it's not big surprise they killed her. I did like the way they handled it. It felt like a real death, so hopefully dead is dead. I don't really follow the fan stuff that much, but reading Crystal wasn't interested in participating isn't shocking. I mean, unless she was a surprise guest tonight, she wasn't even on Wolf Watch to talk about her leaving the show.

I'm glad Malia is coming back. I hope she's a regular next year as I like her. Also I hope they manage to keep Kira around as well. You know. For reasons.

So now that they've written Allison off, that leaves the twins and Peter as possible deaths, right?

She has a little segment filmed of her, but she wasn't a guest on Wolf Watch.

So now it is certain that Crystal wanted to leave the show. I hope that negates any backlash.
 
This sucks, I think it kinda ruins the whole dynamic of the show. Teen wolf made her career, she should be proud to be a part of it, it's too bad she decided to leave. I wish they made her leave beacon hills instead of getting stabbed.

The show got screwed by Jackson as well. They were gonna kill him off but kept him because they thought he was gonna stay until he left for arrow.

Edit: I know in real life she dated Isac. Maybe having these romantic scenes with him even though they broke up made it painful for her and she wanted to leave. That's why you don't date your co-workers...

That can be debated in a number of ways.
 
Exactly, she doesn't have an outstanding career and getting pigeonholed in a role as a teenager is not going to do her any favors. Especially considering she's pushing thirty.
 
Lol, the backlash I'm seeing on twitter and tumblr is huge. A lot of people are pointing out that Haynes left the show and didn't have to die, and that the characters that have been killed off are women and POC. If the twins do die though, I guess some people will quiet down. If she does come back for later seasons, then I hope it's kind of like Buffy where they rip her out of Heaven (or Hell) or something.

Damn, all my faves are being killed off or going away on most of the shows I watch, smh. I like the twins though, so it will kind of suck for next season.
 
Interesting. I didn't even consider that Allison might die. I'm glad the show surprised me. If you think about it, Allison was an ideal target for the Nogitsune because her death hurts so many other characters. So it works story-wise, and based on the latest discussion here it seems to work for Crystal too.

Even though I like what Allison brought to the show, I've never considered her totally indispensable like Stiles. I kind of assumed that as a central character in the earlier seasons she'd always be around, but you know, I'm unexpectedly OK with this. The end of Allison is nothing for me compared to Jackson suddenly fucking off to London or whatever right at the high point of his storyline. Dammit Colton, that was just rude.
 
Ha, I should be upset but I'm so used to being spoiled about TV shows on either Facebook or Twitter that I'm not even fucking phased.

The were going to kill off Jackson, but then they decided to build a big story arc for him after they saw they chemistry the cast had, and then Colton decided to leave, after they had filmed it all. It's a totally different situation. (And Allison's exit was waaaaaaaaaaay better. Jackson's was a joke, and I think that was on purpose.)

Of course that won't change how some people will choose to view this. Never mind the fact that having Allison's character just leave to go somewhere else would mean that JR Bourne's character would also have to be written out. But some people don't care about that, or that Crystal chose to leave on her own, against the planned story arc for her character, just like Erica and Cora.

Oh well. Most of the people complaining will still keep watching the show anyway. Internet fandoms can be really deflating, so I tend not to get involved in them too much, but rather carve out my own niche, like TeenWolfGAF. :)
 
Guess I'm actually more interested in catching up after seeing the spoilers. My girlfriend is going to flip. At least I can warn her to watch out for spoilers online. On Twitter it's like the top trending thing.
 
I really want to know who is teaching them their French, because it's so bad and hilarious. Everytime it's pronounced wrong. And I'm not even talking about any english speaker "accent", it's just plain wrong. Worst offender was the French teacher, who should probably now how to pronounce a basic sound.


Anyway, I thought Allison was cool this season for once, and not just plain annoying/ridiculous, so it's a shame she left now. That said I understand why. I just hope it doesn't mean the Argent family is gone for good.

Judging by Wolf Watch, Chris will still be sticking around. I guess he'll be in full vendetta mode. I hope he teams up with Derek.

I bet he'll be going after that other hunter family, led by that Mariah(?) lady.

If Jeff actually went through with Scisaac, I'd be over the moon. Now that would be gutsy, having two of your main character revealed as bisexual, including the series lead.

As for Allison's last scene, it was actually Crystal's idea to profess her love for Scott at the end. It wasn't in the script, and they weren't going to keep it in originally. I do agree that Chris should of been more involved in the scene.
 
Damn.

I can understand wanting to leave a show after it's been a number of years and your character has been majorly sidelined. Sad to see Crystal Reed go though.

I just need a gay char that is ACTUALLY a character and not "Token gay guy". I'd be here for Danny learning about everything and snuggling with Stiles.

ohh... lol I forgot about both of those.

But anyway, Allison's death had been obvious for quite a while. I feel like, in the first-third episode when they were dealing with the darkness stuff, Crystal Reed wasn't planning on leaving the show but then she talked to Jeff about it so they just dropped the whole Aunt thing and sidelined Allison for the rest of the season until her death scene.

Although rule number one of switch jobs/quitting jobs, you only leave once you have something better. Brodouche had Arrow, and she has...indie films? maybe? What the fuck. I mean, the series probably had another two or three seasons? She coulda taken that paycheck for a good while longer

How old is Dylan btw? I hope I'm not lusting after someone really young. I don't want to be a creepier or anything. Also I heard on the after-after show (lol) he talks about him being roommates with Tyler. How long did that happen and why did it stop?

And is the one twin going after Danny really gay? He wasn't on Desperate Housewives but he plays it really well here if not. At least he plays it better than Danny.

I think both Dylan and Tyler are 22. I don't know about Charlie Carver (Ethan) but he did say he would always be single in an interview lol
