Man, I need to beat last boss first to buy them? Boo.
Just beat Undead Crypt and sounds of bells is ringing in my head.
I think she sells them before, just not an infinite amount. Depends how much you need, I guess!

In the room with the single golem and the statue knights, did you kill one of them near the golem? That will activate the lift. If you already tried then not sure.
Any tips foron ng+? Can't seem to beat these fuckersgargoyles![]()

Out of curiosity are there any Sickles(classified reaper in-game) that have completely physical damage base besides the Full Moon sickle? Just looked into theone and that turns out to do magic damage, and theBrother of Bloodsickle does dark damage.Silverback
The swing motion on these things is awesome, but the full moon one swings slow.
After I beat the last boss, I can still finish up some other quests too right? Like the Bernhart one?
Wow, that's really really obtuse, even for a Souls game... But thanks!
lol, wow.
Just beat the Royal Rat Vanguard. Industry standard boss design here ppl.
Great Machete and maybe Bone Scythe?
But that's how you got into the castle!
Your spoiler is kinda funny and you will see why if you go back into the boss room after hitting a bonfire. =)
EDIT: Just re-read your post and I think you already know what I'm talking about. Im a doof.
Heh I actually liked that fight in concept--swarmed by a colony of nasty brutes makes sense considering the area but you needed more rats with more speed on them to make it justly terrifying. As is, they're a small nuisance to dispatch.
I keep reading about people using +10 flame greatswords, etc. Do you only want to infuse if you're not getting a good benefit from the stat scaling?
Example: I have a +10 Gyrm Great Hammer. It has A strength scaling. I have 40 strength. If I infuse it with lighting or fire, will it be better or worse?
Sorry if this is obvious to others.
Huh, I see that they're reaper weapons, but do they have the same swing motion as the sickles? Or do they have the Great Scythe swing? Completely different between them.
There's so many guys at the beginning, I was fighting them all over the place... I thought they were activating like DMC doors, had no idea it was only because I was close... +, there's no distance thing with the torch golems in the basement right?

Hm, where is theBernhart's summon point for Giant Lord? I spoken to him at the place after the first Pursuer boss.

I've read thatIt won't show up if you summon. It is down the stairs near the broken entrance. You might need to finish MLord Drummondfirst, though.emory of Orro
Btw, I got the.... what Now? AlsoKing's RingThe king was a big hollow which does not attack you, but you can target him. Is there any reward for killing him?
Okay, here's a question for stat-GAF. I've been playing regularly with the Archdrake Robes as my main armor. I've been trying to get to the merchant inand there's a small room with two enemies after climbing up a ladder that I'm having trouble getting through. So I thought "hey, I'll pop on Havel's Armor and tank their hits so I can kill them quicker." Except I did that and, despite have 200 more defense than my regular robes, their attacks do the exact same amount of damage.Drangleic Castle
What's going on here?
Wow, that's really really obtuse, even for a Souls game... But thanks!
Defense isn't worth much in this game.

Great. So what you're saying is that I should ignore stats and just play Fashion Souls with my armor because that's all it's good for?
It's better than it was in DkS1, that's for sure.
You're introduced to that mechanic multiple times before that point, so it really isn't obtuse at all.

I'm not liking how some of the late game areas are rather challenging and then the bosses are a joke:
Dragon Rriders, Looking Glass Knight, Demon of Song and Velstadt have all been really easy.

I've read thatBernhart will give you his equipment in Memory of Orro, but i have only beaten two bosses with him. I'm scared that i will speak to him too soon, resulting in it being too late to get the trophy (like what happends if you speak with Lucatiel in Aldia's Keep if you havnt beaten at least 3 bosses with her staying alive). The Giant Lord is in Memory of Jeigh, its not where Drummond is. Or am i missing something?

Heh, on NG+ I got invaded andNot necessary.
You can run past the 3 gray phantom Keepers on the way to the ladder. Once up top the tower, kite around the 2 dudes who aggro after getting up the ladder. You can do so without aggroing the other 2 gray phantoms up here. Then you can pull the lever to ring the bell and challenge the area boss. You only need to do this once, so even if you die thereafter, you can just run for the mist door.
No cable pulling necessary, really.
Thanks, will keep this post bookmarked for my next play through. I got Lucatiel killed, possibly?, but was able to resummon her later so I don't know what's up with that. I also missed various dialogue options with her.For people wondering how to complete the character questlines here's the order to do hem in.
Lucatiel:
Talk to her in No Mans Wharf
Summon and keep her alive against Flexile Sentry
Talk to her in Lost Bastille
Summon and keep her alive against Lost Sinner
Talk to he in Earthern Peak
Summon and keep her alive against Smelter Demon
Talk to he in Black Gulch
Summon and keep her alive against The Rotten
Talk to he in Aldias Keep
*you only need to keep her alive in 3 of the 4 fights, so it doesn't matter if she dies once.
Benhardt:
Talk to him before Shaded Woods (before unpetrifying Rosabeth)
Talk to him before Shaded Woods (after unpetrifying Rosabeth)
Summon and keep him alive against Dark Magus + Congress
Talk to him in Drangleic Castle
Summon and keep him alive against Looking Glass Knight
Talk to him in the area after Pursuer
Talk to him in Memory of Orro
Summon and keep him alive against Giant Lord
Talk to him in memory of Orro
Summon and keep him alive against Throne Watcher, Throne Defender + Nashandra
Talk to him in Memory of Orro
*Must survive all fights

It's usually a worse idea in cases like that. A scaling + 40 STR is pretty good. The problem with going fire or lightning is that 1. it splits the damage 2. the scaling 'might' drop from A to something lower and 3. fire and lightning scale with other stats in this game.

Thanks to the both of you!You can speak with Benhart in memory of Orro first, finish memory of Jeigh, and then go back to Orro. I just did this, and in addition I beat the final boss before I finally returned to Benhart in the memory of Orro. He will always be there in memory of Orro, he won't leave. I took the Giant's soul in Memory of Orro before returning to Orro for Benhart as well.
Lol, I think upgrading armor helped me. But I think if you dodge a lot, no need for defence, I guess.
You'll see some difference in damage taken, but generally something that'll kill you in Havel's will kill you in a robe.
Fashion Souls (considering weight) >>> all, anyways.
Where is the pyro glove anyway? I have a few pyro spells, but no glove. Where does I gets it?
Yeah, I'm generally a dodger in the first place. It's just the particular room is tiny and it's two enemies with spears so it's basically climb up ladder -> roll -> die anyway.
Great. So what you're saying is that I should ignore stats and just play Fashion Souls with my armor because that's all it's good for?
Benhardt is definitely not like that. I talked to him all those times, but I did all his boss fights after speaking with him Orro,, after that I went back to Orro and talked to him again, and he gave me his stuff.I had him help me with the MK once and the Congregation+Magus twice

How do you get fromtoShrine of Amana? I think I missed it. I already defeated theUndead Crypt.frog
I'm kind of iffy due to timing sometimes being complete bullshit, especially when the invaders aren't considerate enough to allow you to tend to whatever you're actively doing. This makes me very happy. Thought it would take longer to start punishing people for disconnects.
