(Even so, what disgusts me isn't potential creepyness, but lack of originality or initial appeal, let alone lasting one) I thought you were referring to made-up aspects in characters' movesets, of which I really struggle to find something that I'd qualify as "disturbing". Quirky, lazy, weird, sure, but disturbing? Nah, not in Smash. I'm not crazy about Giga Bowser but I am not bothered by it at all, and would have nothing against its return as Bowser's FS, were they to give it a buff.

My theory is- it actually kinda looks like when Luigi activates his Final Smash, a light shines down on his opponent(s), DK in this image, and stuns them. Maybe then he could go up to any of the stunned opponents and suck them into his vacuum.

Oh man, these things might suck in Subspace Emissary, but they totally would fit into Kid Icarus. Especially that floating eye with tentacles - it basically already IS an enemy in Kid Icarus: Uprising

It made absolutely perfect sense that as Mario's FLUDD pushed away, Luigi's Poltergust pulled in. Why they didn't do it was always beyond me.

Poltergust can also be a flamethrower and freeze ray. If Luigi gets a cool weapon, FLUDD's representation should be vastly improved as well.
