I know this is going a little OT but... What is up with so much of comics-gaf being all up inside Black Panther? I've seen him flex once or twice in the past in a cool way but never read a really good arc that made me "whoa" the fuck out over him...

and as far as power sets and such are concerned... seems ridiculous that Namor hasn't just punched his fucking spine out of his back already. Unless i'm crazy off base I didn't think that BP was on the same level as someone like Dat Submariner.

Between the dripfeed of news for this and the crazy psyched up AMPED AS HELL feeling i'm getting for Cap 2 i'm really starting to feel marvel has hit a kind of stride we may not see in movies again for quite some time. Makes me wonder if this is how sci-fi fans felt back in the way when they knew a brand new Star Wars flick was coming and it was definitely gonna be a fucking home run and not a complete pile of shit.

Avengers 2 is surely going to destroy records. Thanatos WILL kill someone. Without a doubt.

A question: How do you all think they will handle RDJ bowing out of the MCU game? Kill Tony? Pass the Torch? Teeny tiny cameos??

BP has been a boss since his first appearance in FF4, long time avenger, and his anthology run was legendary with even the great Duane McDuffie calling it his favorite anthology ongoing. Having some of the run he is right, amazing story telling. Then theres the christopher priest run, and all his avengers stuff. Still the character is awesome and embodies the hunt well whats not to like. Historically T'cahlla and Namor are friends and have great respect for each other no matter how much xmen comics try and ruin that. namor can break tchalla in two but vibranium is what gives him defense against heavy hitters. That and Namor does not want to hurt T'challa at all he respects him no matter what revisionist history Slayven tries to portray.

I don't understand Namor sympathizers either. He got fucked twice most deservedly after being such a little bitch in AvX and during Infinity I'm surprised he doesn't get stabbed by a vibranium dagger in the ass.

Namor is best, I think, in the Defenders comics, especially this (I wanna say 2007/2008 but I'm probably wrong about that) Defenders comic by Giffen, DeMatteis, and Maguire. He's still an asshole, but he ends up in the "hilarious" category and has some amazing banter with Banner as well as a great meet-up with an alternate-universe version of him who's actually a decently nice guy.

Also, the MCU needs a movie with a black superhero lead, and since Luke Cage is getting a TV show BP is the best option.

At the risk of being THAT GUY, he's Centaurian, and Centaurians are blue. Maybe there was one or two somewhere that were portrayed without blue skin, but blue skin is a racial characteristic of Centaurians.
 
Holy shit how crazy is Halloween going to be this year? Kids are going to have a lot more options for superhero costumes this year. I wonder if the Gamora costume is going to be tweaked a little to allow kids to use it.

She has like 4 different outfits in the movie that we know of. 5 if you include her birthday suit....
 
Catalogue didn't actually list a kids one but I think I've seen it listed on another thread?

Other pages showed stuff you could buy for Groot and Rocket. Oh and a Ronan mask and his hammer.
 
Not really a fan of those red uniforms to be honest, I hope they're in their casual gear for most of the film.

Also has it been explained yet why Groot is walking around bollock naked?

The Bendis run is still ongoing and it sucks terribly.

First thing he did? Moved the guardians to earth (well near earth) and had Iron Man join the team...

At least Iron Man being part of the team was only temporary, & left the team recently.

As for the incoming members, at least Ms./Captain Marvel makes sense. While the Venom symbiote is alien in origin, Flash Venom, as much as I love the guy, being part of the team is a bit odd.

Did you guys check out the digital prequel comic? It confirms
The Collector's home is on Knowhere and that Gamora is after the orb to keep it out of the hands of Ronan.

There's another comic out today by DnA focusing on Nebula and Gamora.

In other Guardians of the Galaxy news, the recent prequel comic has confirmed that British actress Ophelia Lovibond’s pink character, who was introduced alongside The Collector, Taneleer Tivan (Benicio del Toro), in Thor: The Dark World mid-credits, is in fact Carina Walters. In the comics, she had a deep mythology as The Collector’s daughter, however, we still don’t know how their relationship will translate on-screen.

I know they probably make figures for the sake of making figures with the galaxy Iron Man, but wasn't there that rumour about a post credit scene where Tony would recieve a distress call from Starlord and you see him fly out to space.

Now that both Thor and Cap have had a big sequence after the first credits it's even more weird that Iron Man 3 only had the sequence with banner. Which in my opinion is as much as
Thor coming to earth and Bucky visiting the smithsonian
. It could be a possibility that they cut it and added it to GotG?
