Yep yep, I got smacked by Nightbot. Guess my last message was too long or something. Glad you took the time to read it to see that I didn't say anything offensive.
I guess this won't work, if there is fog wall, which appears after you aggro the boss? Here's that video I said I'd post in case any one else doesn't want to fight the enemies leading up to the AD optional boss every time they die:
Video contains optional boss spoilers, obviously.

It's 100% consistentuntil the final stairs leading up to the fog door, and that section is just gonna be whether or not you're skilled at dodging through and/or juking attacks.[the only thing I do that is even remotely strategic is the detour at around 30 seconds in. I'm not saying this is some grand strategy or anything.]
Still, assuming you only get damaged in that final area, you'll have most, if not all your resources still intact for the boss itself.
Just run to the fog door and start the fight, she will join you with minimal damage.Guiding Luca to Lost S. boss is..really aggravating.

Ffffffffff, Luca died right as I was midway swinging the killing blow to Lost S. I still have two () more chances right? Or is Lost S. an absolute needed kill.Smelter Demon & The Rotten
Frustrationnnnnn.
Noted for next playthrough. Thanks!
You only need 3 of the 4. You can also use a Bonfire Ascetic to retry any of them if needed.
That room was way to hard to clear to get everything. I don't think the Sentinels were supposed to respawn in the first place.
I love how Iron Keep bridge has become the "de facto" PvP area for the community
Heidi Tower first bonfire is working its way of being the 2nd one. I thought Heidi woild have been a hot spot from the getgo but I guess people are now starting to mark the territories...atleast in NG+

I've noticed Iron Keep being a big spot, but the spot I get invaded at the most is huntsman's copse. Those blue spirits love hiding behind those. Gets pretty annoying.Red spirit badass whip/halberd guys
Ah, the feeling of being invaded in Shrine of Amana, using a Seed of Giants, and seeing a message that the invader has been vanquished a couple of seconds later.
Haha...so good.
BTW is there any way to get more of these things because I've only found one in my first playthrough.![]()

it's interesting they patched out the sentinels in DC. those were a pain in the ass and easy to aggro multiple.
well it's the only solution to reset the soul memory afaik, if you want to get some active online play again. Why would I want to create a new character? I like this character. I want to keep playing as this character. Plus I still need to get all spells.
Having to create a new character is not a solution and doesn't fix this annoying issue. Even if I stayed lv 100, I would still have this issue.
Yes, you can pick them up occasionally on the Giant Tree near the Soldier's Rest bonfire in Forest of the Giants. They allegedly spawn when you are invaded, when you kill an invader, when you are killed by an invader or something like that. I'm not certain about the details. They do spawn more often than you think, though.![]()
The tree of giants near the turtle dudes at the Soldier's Rest bonfire in the Forest of fallen Giants has a chance to grow a seed every time you're invaded. The chance gets bigger with each invasion I think. Just check it every now and then.
class don't matter. you can make any character into anything. Only for min maxing it plays a small role.
"Knight" has decent stats at the beginning with lots of health, a bit of adaptability, vitality and strength.
Have a Seed of a Tree of Giants?
If Sunlight Blade/CMW/Resonant Weapon all give fixed bonuses, does it mean an upgraded chime/staff will give the same bonus as a maxed one?
Pretty much. I used simpletons spice to be able to use CMW with my unupgraded staff because of this. One of the few combat changes I'm glad they made, the way magic weapon scaled irrelevant of the weapon it was put on was ridiculous.
It's only useful for invasions though, isn't it more of a waste of you never use it?Like with most rare consumables, I don't think I'll ever use one. Would be funny though.

I know that's the case but I always think to myself with rare consumables that I need to save them for later. Not the most logical practice, I know.

It works even with the fog wall. It might be a close call though, but i've done it a few times when the fog gate is there.I guess this won't work, if there is fog wall, which appears after you aggro the boss?
Yeah, I often do the same. I still have all the rare life restore items. The seed of giants is so fun to use when you are invaded when farming or not wanting to fight though. I've gotten the seed used on me a couple of times when I've invaded, and it's interesting to see. I've never been caught off guard when someone use it on me though, all hosts have fallen despite it.I know that's the case but I always think to myself with rare consumables that I need to save them for later. FTFY.Okay, so unlike the other two Souls games [EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, I can't remember if every class started with a shield in Demon's, but they definitely all did in Dark Souls1]where every class starts with a shield(even if some weren't very good shields),KnightWarrior is the only class that starts with one in Dark Souls 2.
lol, thisUsing an Ascetic on Sinner's Rise is a terrible idea.
How was it ridiculous? please explain to me how investing 40 stat points for a buff is ridiculous compared to investing nothing for a buff. There are already min/maxed builds that one shot with base level stats and spiced buffs with base catalysts.
Buffs in this game are just stupid as hell, why wouldn't you use one all the time? gotta love that weapon buff, great magic barrier pvp meta, watch it become used by everyone in a few weeks if the game stays the same.
I guess this appeals to the DeS fans that love their everyone-use-the-same-buffs-with-a-broken-talisman-pvp.
I never use rare consumables either. Barely use the standard ones. Been like that for many years.
FTFY.![]()
Not only do I do this but I obsessively avoid using the item box. I feel like I need instant access to anything and everything, so I've just got the most ridiculous inventory to scroll through when I'm changed what's on my d-pad or equipment.

I only put duplicates in the item box
Question guys, can I do the quest for Navlaan if I use the Bonfire Ascetic in the first one? Curiosity made me not pull back lol.
i didn't use any divine blessings in 120hours.
never had the opportunity to use the seed.
How do I check how many deaths I have?
Damn, down in first attempt. Too easyLooking (Gl)ass Knight![]()
Yea, its kinda disappointing that a fight that iconic and memorable is one of the easiest in the game.
On NG+ and ++ though, he summoned actual players for me, that was cool as hell.
Now that you said that, this trailer probably shows that missing enemy (I think its)the sub boss from Telsora?
