Eh, it's not that bad for me since it was fast paced weekend for me.
More or less, same here. Had to work yesterday plus I have to go in today so at least it'll keep me busy. All day Tuesday is going to be the struggle though >_<

I played the W101 demo and decided I dislike it even more than I thought I would.
LOL That was random. Where did you heard that?
It's possible.

I bought it and finished the first level and haven't touched it since
I'll see myself out the door

This was sort of my reaction as well. I liked it when Wonder Beer popped up at the end, but I wasn't really a fan of the gameplay, controls (especially the touchscreen) or visuals at all. Maybe once it goes down to $15 I'll buy it.I played the W101 demo and decided I dislike it even more than I thought I would.
Not sure if this has been brought up but what do you guys think the chances of the box art for the game getting revealed is?
People who think they'll hate a game and then hate the demo are always funny.
You've failed my test.
The spreadsheeet. Before the yaoi, wee were all typing random crap and I saw "Intelliheath is my father"
Your opinions are incredibly disappointing. Though I suppose high-octane action games aren't for everyone.I played the W101 demo and decided I dislike it even more than I thought I would.

Out of general curiosity, though, what did you think you wouldn't like and what did you end up disliking?
Also, Google Drive lesson learned #2: deleting something doesn't actually delete it, it goes into a recycle bin and must be removed from there.
I am unsure because I was asleep, but it seems to have been based on the last page on this thread.Dont tell me it was still going o aftewards
I shudder to imagine what happened when it was abandoned completely
what did I, Boss Doggie, do D:
I don't understand how someone can dislike action games but like fighting games like Smash. They are cousins. Unless you just hate AI opponents entirely. This was sort of my reaction as well. Then again, I probably just don't like action games. I wouldn't buy Bayonetta again.

Huh what? Am I a bully now for trying to strike up a conversation? I don't care if he likes TW101. I haven't even played it yet to judge myself. He doesnt have to like what games you like. Leave him alone
And no, thats not true. Youre thinking of beat 'em ups and fighting games, and even then, those two are two separate things
The general consensus seems to be that TW101's demo was not very good. Though I don't get the Uprising comment. That game was spectacular from second one for me. What took a while for you?If you've only played a little bit of The Wonderful 101 and stopped, you're not doing it right. Of course, it's always entirely possible that it's not your kind of game...but it's one of those games that doesn't really click until you play a bit further into it. I was super hyped for the game but the demo wasn't really appealing to me, and playing the full game was a rough start. But once it clicked, oh boy. It's similar to Kid Icarus: Uprising like that, really. Actually, I find that it's similar to Uprising in quite a few aspects.

And no, I am thinking of action games and fighting games. Beatemups like Dragon's Crown have much less in common with fighters than action games like Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden.
Of course they are separate things. Hence why I called them cousins. Oi.
Remember, assumptions just make you look like an ass./you're making it seem such that its ridiculous and illogical to not like the game. If anything, youre making it such that he doesnt want to play the W101
You could do things like ask him what was dissatisfying about the game for him, what did he do with the controls, and try to find something for him that works and helps him like the game. I understand with W101, the demo and controls have high learning curves that once broken past=a better game, but by sayig "I don't undersand.." you're suggesting that it weird and perhaps illogical to be taking his stance.
Oh, and then you have to take into account that smash is not like most fighters in its system
Sorry to bother you guys, sakurai has said this game will be in 1080p, but we have no information of the 60fps(or maybe I don't remember).
I was already trying to make this bet! Lol.
Umm.. Bet that we will get nothing new shown for the 3DS. XP That we haven't already seen from PoTD.
I'll take that ;3
It'll be 60 FPS. Every Smash game has been.
60p is a given by genre, but 1080p would be really impressive.
My primary concern for this game is still the netcode. Brawl had the worst netcode I have ever experienced in my life. I bought my Wii entirely for that game and it went unplayed after a short time. Repeating that scenario would deeply upset me.
It doesn't help that 99% of the Wii U user base will be wireless. :/
And people will never take that for granted ever again.
If Smash 4 is 30FPS it will really cripple my enjoyment of it. Sakurai is a smart guy though. Right?

What about 3ds version?
I hope and think it will be 60 fps
It was pretty solid. Fighting games require a netcode quality far above any other genre, though. A lot of the Kid Icarus stuff wasn't precision-oriented. For example, in Smash I will need to tap a button for a precisely timed dodge. In Kid Icarus, I would mash the hell out of dodge when a big orb came toward me.I have high hopes for this given how awesome and fun Kid Icarus Uprising's online was
Are there a lot of 60FPS 3DS games? The footage so far has looked kind of choppy.
Tekken 3DAre there a lot of 60FPS 3DS games? The footage so far has looked kind of choppy.
Tekken 3D
Mario Kart 7
A Link Between Worlds
Those are the only ones I know.
And it didn't look choppy to me at all. It only looked slow.
Before playing:
1.The design on the main characters didn't appeal to me at all.
2. it felt like a beat em up with a ton of weird functions added due to the art:
Though I like the idea of drawing attacks to use em, it all sounded like unnecessary complex input methods for what is essentially changing weapon types.
3. A distinct lack of things I enjoy in the footage I've seen.
After playing:
1. I hate the additional character designs even more than the main ones, like dear god.
2. From what I can tell the weapon changes/transformations are even more simplistic than I expected, making me really not understand why it's necessary to draw shapes to switch weapons.
3. The cake shield move feels dumb to me and I don't want to use it.
4. Press A to Awesome bugs me in general, didn't realise this game did it.
5. I bloody hate having to turn wheels and stuff with the giant hand. It doesn't feel like a clever puzzle it just disrupts the action.
6. I really just wanted to go back to Tropical Freeze, now that's a fun game.
Cause the comparison is being drawn: I quite enjoyed Kid Icarus Uprising.
2. I'd recommend using the right stick for drawing. Treat it like fighting game inputs more than actual shapes. In the full game that makes it easier to use the massive amounts of Unite Morphs.
I misremembered. It did look slow, not choppy! Thanks by the way.
