The Cottage one is true. I was in one once, it was really interesting experience. It's a lot more sociable then most restrooms, more like women's. Men pick stalls that are next to occupied ones just so they can chat or multiple. There are even holes so if you have finished reading a newspaper article you can pass it on to the person sitting adjacent.

Bathroom is usually just called toilets/the toilet

I'm in Suffolk. When I order a bacon cheese burger it's basically a burger with fried ham. I guess when I think of bacon it's crispy bacon. The bacon that comes on the burger is the size of the burger and soft.
