MegaKabuterimon pls

Doesnt help that when Im not watching the seasons again
(SPRING BREAK)
, Im listening to Digimon Frontier theme

My crackpot 'it has no chance in hell of happening' is to have some representation for Fatal Frame/Spirit Camera, as Nintendo published the last few games and own the spin-off Spirit Camera IP on 3DS. Even just a stage would be pretty cool. It'll never happen, but it's my biggest crackpot ideal.

Ridley is announced... As the new fight commentator.

"Wow, Samus really conked Bowsy with that Grapple Lasso. Oooh, now she's going for the fully charged shot while the Koopa's on the ground. No mercy, no respect. Shame on you Sammy, poor villain's gotta make a livin'.
Well, Diabetus is unemployed currently...

Because of the hype I've decided to try and come up with a Shulk moveset.

Before I begin with the moves, the premise I'm going with is that since a lot of Shulk's abilities in the game were buffs, his character would revolve around changing between different buffs that alter the way he plays with most of his attacks being relegated to normal attacks. I have two ideas of how these would work- Either they raise one type of strength while making others weaker, or they only work for a set duration after which they have to cool down. In the former case you'd only be able to use one buff at a time, or switch them off to play normal Shulk. The latter would allow multiple at once, but would probably either have drawbacks for a period of the cooldown time or require shulk without buffs to be a bit weaker than normal

So moveset
B. Monado Enchant- Ups damage and knockback of moves (If only one buff allowed at a time, it'll make you take more damage and get knocked further)
Bforward- Monado Speed- Ups agility and attack speed. (In first case, knockback and damage would fall)
B down- Monado Armour- lowers the knock back and damage Shulk takes (In first case this is at the expense speed)
B up- Monado Cyclone- The recovery move, think Link's spin attack or DK's B up

Final Smash- Future Sight- Increases Damage, Knockback, Agility, and makes Shulk invincible for a short amount of time (With a dodge animation whenever he's attacked of course)

Additionally Monado Buster would be his forward smash
So basically a fighter focused entirely on buffs/debuffs on command? Would be interesting. I suppose Monado Shield would be his, well, shield, then.

Camera Item: Use it to make your enemies become haunted by evil spirits of the dead.

Yeah. And yeah Monado Shield would be his shield. Pretty perfect fit considering it functions and is shaped super similarly to the Smash Bros Shield. I think I like the idea of only one buff at a time better, with super quick switching between buffs since it adds more to gameplay. Like you could use monado speed to close in and set up a combo, and then switch to monado enchant for the finisher. Switch to monado armour if your damage is getting high to add a bit more survivability.

The only downside is that Shulk!Kirby would only be able to use the one buff/debuff.

(Oh God, I hadn't even considered what Shulk!Kirby would look like.)

Oh yeah, didn't even think of that. Still not too huge an issue in my opinion. I guess another alternative is to have him use one special (probably B down) to cycle through buffs and give him two other specials. Though that would probably lessen the advantage if you couldn't switch quickly

This is the second time today when I've seen an exclamation mark where a hyphen should be. Is this a new meme or something?

Camera Item: Use it to make your enemies become haunted by evil spirits of the dead.

The camera obscura obviously is one of the most iconic things of the franchise. An item is more likely than a character, though a character could be pretty unique. In the Fatal Frame games, the combat is mainly focused with the camera obscura, but it has a lot of functions. In FF, the camera does a stronger effect the closer someone is to the camera. It's really weak if you just pull it out and take a shot, but if you take it out and charge it up it can be really powerful, It also has functions to slow-down enemies, blast an opponent back with a massive force, piercing shots (to hit more than one opponent), and freeze in place for a limited time. There's other game elements that could make for an interesting character, but I'm going to drop that line of thought as the more I think on it, the more saddened I'll be it'll never happen.

More realistically if there was going to be any representation, it'd probably be a 3DS-exclusive stage as Nintendo owns the Spirit Camera IP, which only has had an entry on the 3DS. But even that is highly unlikely.

Hmmm Kirby forms. Actually, based just on the Kirby hat who would everyone want to see in the game.

For Example: I personally want Tiny Kong in the game. I think Kirby would be adorable with the pigtails.

Adult Tiny from Mario Sluggers though

So yeah, if he cycled through the buffs, I'd probably change his b special to monado buster, B forward to a counter attack (Basically incorporating the idea of seeing the future), and maybe change his final smash to a bigger Monado Buster, although keeping it as I originally thought of it could work too

I'd die happy knowing that as far as I knew, Sora was never ruled out from Smash

Keeping with the digimon theme

You mean this person, right?
Sora_Takenouchi_t.gif

Kari would be pretty cool too
Kari_Kamiya_(02)_t.gif

In fact, Kamiya is always cool
Always found the relation of KH1 kairi and digimon adventures 2/her younger look in adventures 1 AND there similar looks to be a little suspicious

why the fuck are we talking about digimon

agumon can digivolve into devimon. mind blown.

That's not even the oddest digivolution. Why would you want Gatomon to digivolve into Angewomon when she can become Butterflymon? Why not have Patamon digivolve into Mantaraymon?

Look up some digivolution charts. It's mind blowing when you see which digimon can become what. Heck Veemon can become Honeybeemon.

I can't wait to win my bets. Haha. I think it'll be the funniest thing ever, well at least to me it'd be pretty funny. XP

I'll be pissed if the Avatar was randomly confirmed on Tuesday, that would be a crappy unexpected loss for me. lol.

I remember my 1st digimon game. I was so fucking confused at all the possibilities and evolutions going on.

I would say its always been digimon's problem. All of these evolutions are cool, but the multitudes of ways it can happen, multiple universes in one series (I assume), inerlinking paths for many digimon, etc. make it realy hard to keep up with the stuff. I have, but its as confusing as the Zelda timeline pre Hyrule Historia, the MegaMan timeline, MGS story, KH story, etc

All of which Ive managed to understand

The funny thing is that, while Digimon's games aren't anywhere near Pokemon's quality, the Digimon anime was superior by a wide margin.

A wiiiiiiiiiide margin.

Maybe Kirby has to cycle through them by pressing B repeatedly, while Shulk himself can toggle specific ones with directions?

And that's just his digi-egg digivolutions. I've always loved the customization in the Digimon games. I was so surprised when I played Digimon World for the first time and my Agumon Digivolved into Centarumon. Plz localize the 3DS game Namco.

what the fuck are you guys doing

Talking about an anime/card game/video game from our childhoods. It makes the time go by slightly faster.

This is the second time today when I've seen an exclamation mark where a hyphen should be. Is this a new meme or something?
Not really a meme, and definitely not new; I've been using that syntax for years. Just specifies a specific variant of the character specified after the exclamation point. I have no idea where I picked up on it from anymore.

That's not that wide, let's try again
A wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide margin

Scared to when I get to data squad and fusion
Data Squad I cant remember much of, all the episodes werent on the website I went to as a kid. Remember not liking it much

I saw Fusion's theme song alone and Im scared
Im scared
I dont know what to expect, and Im scared of ruining childhood memories

Now this is really confusing. Veemon can use all the crest eggs? And what's the flower one at the bottom? Pretty sure that wasn't in season 2.

If you think the anime evolutions are confusing, you will have a headache playing the games

I remember repeatedly getting stuck with this pile of plastic when I wanted an Agumon instead

I agree about old school Digimon anime, but gotta say, I recently watched a few episodes of Digimon Fusion, and the Pokémon XY series is way less crap. Way less.

All of the season 2 digidestined Digimon can use all of the armored digi-eggs. Some other digimon can also use them. For example Wizardmon can use the digi-egg of courage to become FlaWizarmon.

The pink digi-egg is the digi-egg of kindness and the one with the wing on top of it is the second gold digi-egg, the digi-egg of destiny.
