his comment about check the credits can either mean he's voicing someone (which I'm guessing Cosmo), or if he got bigger role for future Marvel movies and he appear as a guest star at the end credit tease

Aw yisss, the shot from the comic-con footage that i wanted to see in the trailer. Looks very cool.
As for Nathan Fillion, i absolutely love the guy since i first saw Firefly and he has been in the previous two films by James Gunn, but i wouldn't count on him having a substantial role. He does have some voice acting experience though (which he acquired working for the Distinguished Competition), so a voice acting gig on this wouldn't be out of the question.

I don't see it, too high profile role. But then again, James Spader has been mostly doing TV series in the last decade and got cast as Ultron, so what do i know. But i don't think a role like Thanos would fit Fillion.
