These are actually my favorite type of items/Assists/Pokemon. The ones that give you a slight spacing advantage are fun. You still have to work to see a benefit from them, but they do help.

Basically the Brawl roster with all the clones removed and the newcomers from this game added.
 
They need to do a limited edition 3DS XL for Smash.
Because if I'm going to be shelling out $150-200 on another 3DS so a friend can play the game with me, I might as well do it in style.

Do what I'm doing, buy a Japanese 3DS so you can have an extra system for imports and download the game on release as soon as it comes out on the Japanese eShop.

(I'm doing this assuming the US release isn't earlier than the Japanese one which I doubt, it'll be same day release at best)

I'm strongly, strongly considering getting a Japanese 3DS XL because of the Persona limited edition. Hnggggg.
But, I'm not sure if it will play nice with US 3DSes. I know its region locked, but would a US Smash Bros game and a JP Smash Bros game be able to play against each other?

Yes, through online, local, and download play.

why are there so many more Japanese 3DS versions than elsewhere
also why is region lock still a thing

I'm so happy about the characters up for grabs.

64 and Melee had me only using Mario and the occasional Falcon (Failcon more like it).

I only really liked Olimar and Diddy in Brawl. PM had me using a few more, such as Ness.

Now, I have my AC Villager, which I've wanted since pre Brawl. Little Mac looks amazing and Olimar changes seem okay. WFT also seems my style.

But yeah, Villager Main 4eva now.
 
So something I noticed when rewatching the direct again is when Sakurai talks about Assist Trophies he says "these tie into ALL STAR MODE so I want to include as many as possible"

How do assist trophies tie into All Star Mode? Will we get to fight some of them during that mode?
 
Does anyone see the possibility of Mii being a fighter under the "Tomadatchi" banner?

The Find Me stage had a crown for its series logo which wouldn't really make much sense for the standalone Mii character. Although I thought that would've been a good "Mii" franchise stage.

But maybe if they had a "Tomadatchi" character (Mii) you'd have custom outfits that came along with it. Along with voice and actions derived from the game.

It would still be "Mii" but a Tomadatchi themed Mii.

What do you guys think?

Again - better than Brawl's. At least they realize that spandex over breasts works... well, much differently.

Anyways, more importantly...

My favorite chars (Kirby and Lucario) have gotten improvements, which makes me rather happy. I can't wait for this game.

But I will. Which, in turn, means that I can.
