I really hope they buff the classic characters. Its really unacceptable that Mario, Link and Samus are all low tier in Brawl. While they are at it, buff Luigi as well, cause thats my main.

They should've just dropped Mario and kept Dr. Mario, he was superior in every way. I hope custom move sets brings back pills!

It's pretty much a reference to Direct (Ridley and Palutena Troll) and Game of Thrones Season 3.2 just began.

I don't understand the GoT reference as I've never seen anything from that show aside from a picture of a character, but I like the title.

It's even worst that the majority if the melee vets aside from a select lucky few made up most of the bottom tiers in brawl.

Marth has a high luck stat, this should be common knowledge.

I suppose its like that when they are "stuck" having already clearly defined movesets and philosophies from the earlier games. Genearlly, fresh characters in fighting games tend to end up really powerful.

The most exciting part is that it would leave room for potential Capcom and Sega items as well.

That's exciting too. I didn't figure there would be anything beyond something like Sonic rings as a food-like healing item at most, but if Capcom and Sega got into the mix with crazy stuff like this things could get friggin' amazing. I'm holding off on that idea for now though, since Namco getting special treatment might just be tied to the fact that the game is being made with Namco already contributing a lot to development.

And I don't even know what the Ganon mains feel like. They fucked him up so bad, the game's coding has an error that makes him worse.

The Ridley shadow in the video had weird animations that did not seem to match the fluidity of most of the characters in the game and he's at least twice indicated Ridley is a hazard in Pyrosphere. Now that there's actually officially a Stage Boss thing, and Sakurai specifically showed Ridley when talking about Stage Bosses, it would be a huge fakeout that would genuinely surprise me.

Not Heihachi, Sakurai said no characters from other fighting games. Only Pacman.

And I don't Sakurai will add demise, he usually stays away from one-shots. But maybe Tingle would be the Zelda character? We haven't seen him yet.

I would be amused if for the next direct, they zoom out and Pikachu is fighting Ridley and he IS a playable character--then a different boss comes flying through the hole.
