So can we discuss costumes? Yeah I know it's come up before, but not since the Direct (with how fast the thread moves I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong though)

I mean we now have two confirmed unique costumes for characters. Plus, I think with Sheik and Zelda being separate, it raises the chances that they'll have their own SS based costumes (the only real argument before was being how weird Zelda turning into Impa would be and now, that's not a problem).

I like the idea of costumes, but Sheik being Impa is a no-no, Sakurai already poo-pooed Peach becoming Daisy, for instance, so costumes will be just that, not full-on character model swaps.

That said, if this is how we get Dr. Mario, I hope that we also get Nurse Peach.

Yeah, I really enjoy playing as him.

His aerial down attack got somewhat buff, so I can't tell if it's buff or not. If you used aerial down attack, apparently you will drop down pretty fast.

I will not however accept Adam Malkovich as a playable character under any circumstance.

It was just, there will always be someone that goes against Zelda and Link and that he also really fucking hates them. It is not literally Demise. Ganondorf was just an evil guy, not the reincarnation of Demise.

It's meant to be both literal and metaphorical. While Demise is the "source of all monsters", it's possible he could've taken mortal form as Ganondorf. Just like Hylia and Zelda.

Demise and OoT Ganondorf also have the same voice actor.

He's one of the major icons of Metroid. He's a recurring boss (Only missing out on Metroid 2, Metroid Hunters, and Metroid Prime 2) and he's also the catalyst for the events of Super Metroid and Metroid Prime after their intros.

So basically, he's the most important Metroid character after Samus and maybe Mother Brain and Dark Samus (Who are both confirmed as Assist Trophies).
