Just came to say that Fez is really fun on the vita. Now that I understand how to read the world maps I find it incredibly addicting.

Top of page recommendation: buy lots of indie games. They are actually good.

Fez
Luftrausers
Steamworld Dig

Etc

Vita. The platform that finally got me to actually play some indies.

The Sly Trilogy is cross buy, just got the Vita version for free from the web store. It clearly states it's cross buy in the description as well.

Wow, Cytus Lambda (music rhythm game on PSM) is really good. Didnt expect that.

Yep, just showed up on the store as free for me.

Trials Fusion is up for EU now. I don't know if it's getting a PS+ discount or not though so I might wait a bit.

I have the exact same problem after turning Wake Up Club on from standby mode.

It started happening after the new update and some problems while DLing Destiny of Spirits.

Is this a sign that the system might break or is it harmless?

I have problems downloading DoS during the beta, and I have those Wake Up Club glitches. My Vita seems fine. I've never had an issue downloading stuff after the DoS beta.

I have a friend in Japan right now. I asked him if he could find so retro material but he is out of luck. Anyway he asked me if I wanted anything for the Vita and I just could come with project diva f2 and shinovi versus, is there any other import friendly game that I'm missing?

PuyoPuyo Tetris, J-Stars Victory Vs, and some Gundam (Dynasty Warrior/Breaker/SEED Battle) games?

I've never played Minecraft, but I will probably get it on the Vita and see what it's all about.

And I'm sorry if I come off as crass but it's bullshit to say they had to re-engineer both the levels and AI when literally all they had to do was put the existing AI into the bots.

I already bought it and I'm glad it's finally here, but they should have had more transparency coming into the patch because I'm pretty sure not a single blog post mentioned it was going to be locked behind a paywall.

Yeah you have to spell out for bots every possible path they can go in each level. It's not like they have A.I. that they can drop an enemy in a level and he can walk around and figure it out.

If the bot path finding is defined by a small amount of variables you'll be able to spot the pattern quickly and exploit it.

I was more than happy to buy the pack. I hope it sells well and they continue to support the game.

Is it cross-buy whether you buy The Sly Collection as a whole or each title individually? I did the latter.

Probably both. Just search for Sly on the web store and see what comes up as free. This is for the European PSN by the way, Jak games weren't cross buy in US so this might not be when it comes out on US PSN either.

Sly 1 is free for me but not the 2 other episodes, I suppose PS3 version of 1st episode was offered on PS+ at some point, i don't remember. I have the bluray version of the collection, too bad there's not a way to make it cross-buy with Vita digital version.

Have the added mini-games in PS3 version disappeared during the Vita port? That was an easy 100% lol

Yeah I thought about Puyo Puyo and he bought for himself J-stars. Thanks!

No kidding. I have almost 600 Steam games with a large portion of them being indies I have barely touched. I'd rather have most of them on Vita.

I hesitated at first but in the future I'll most likely go with the Vita version first and buy a Steam version later (if at all). And honestly, I'd rather have all my 2D games on Vita. Which makes Child of Light extra painful.

Had no idea this existed, this must be the first rhythm game that is beautiful to watch being played (not on vita though :p )

Here is a video from BlueMaxima on Vita:

Speaking of games I grabbed earlier while going through the store:
No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles either might be a F2P block puzzle game, but I just want to say two things before diving back into work:

1. The integration of the No Heroes Allowed franchise is smart and still gives you an upgrade hook by letting you collect/upgrade monsters. Very smartly designed to keep players engaged and give a steady sense of progression.

2. Its F2P, which I was a bit miffed about at first, but huge huge huge props to the devs for offering a 10$ Mega Pack which basically removes most of the F2P limitations (unlimited retries, huge inventory etc), making it a proper full game for the cost of a normal game instead of being an endless cash grab. I support this kind of F2P unlock more than willingly.

Holy shit.

It finally happened.

Putty Squad got released on Vita. Two years after it was supposed to be out. They did it. (Not the retail version though...)

Yeah, I don't get it why they don't release a Vita version. I mean, Child of Light is perfect game for handheld. Welp, I guess I'll just have to picked the Wii U version then :/

It looks like no trophies on this or am I wrong?

guess the time for the naysayers to eat crow is coming

Looking at last weeks HW sales it seems as it's just that the 3DS is waaaay past its prime. Still, year of Vita, yo.

Seriously, I'd buy the shit out of it. Rayman Legends sales must have been terrible on Vita if even the Wii U is getting it. :sob:

Just got Dead Nation Vita on UK PSN. Had to search for it. Best news for me (sorry if obvious) is that it's free as I got it on PS3 after the hacking incident. Awesome.

Cyrus is so ridiculously lenient with its timing that most people probably won't have a problem on normal difficulty.

Nah, the timing is pretty forgiving.

You guys have no idea how bad I am at rhythm games :).

Technically you can play it on your Vita if you have a PS4 :).

bleh. Child of Light on the Vita would really perfect.
I'll buy at $15 on Day One

and they can't blame us for Rayman Legends sales after all the shit they tried to pull with the Vita release

How is FM 2014 on the Vita? Heard the UI and controls are poorly done. Cant seem to find it on US PSN.

Posted some impressions some pages ago.

We got leaked NPD numbers for Rayman Legends and the Vita version wasn't far off the PS3/360 numbers considering it was delayed and missed content at launch.

Is the GoW Ascension free DLC being annoying to download for anyone else in the UK?
I 'bought' the Mark of Kratos and SM Cape, but it's not let me actually download it/added it to my download list, it just says download on the DLC's description page, and whenever I click on that the loading icon pops up temporarily before going off. Also, because I've apparently purchased it now, it's just showing up as purchased on the webstore, so I can't get it onto the PS3 that way either.

The bundle for all the DLC is unavailable as well apparently, so I'll have to download each piece of DLC individually.

Some Ascension DLC are services, not content, they are available inside the game but you donwload nothing.

Could be the closest thing to a SMT game on the Vita.

I'm a bit hesitant actually, since this is from Furyu (+other dev). Only one game from Furyu gave me satisfaction, and that was during the PSP days. Will wait for review scores / comments of others before hyping myself up.

Oh, I remember now. When they gave out that free piece of DLC, on Facebook I think it was, that was added into my services section of my account.

Just checked and it's in there. I've still not tried the game itself yet; I've been playing through and getting the platinum of the games in release order. Up to GoW III currently, and the game is great so far; that grapple/tether move Kratos has now is a great addition to his arsenal. Hopefully the online'll still be active by the time I get to play it :lol.
