Plan to man :)!

Getting 15 games for 15 bucks is a dam good deal and many of these games are great ones I missed out on.

Getting to play almost the entire TellTale collection (BttF, Sam and Max, Tales of Monkey Island), tons of great Indie games (Retro City and Everyday Shooter are very fun :)), and getting some awesome PS One Classics (now own Crash 1, Spyro 1 and Gex Enter the Geco) is quite something.

Thanks for letting us in on the sale man.

welcome and support the process. huge come up tho ; )

Kind of curious about the Atelier games on Vita. Never played the series before, do you have to do multiple playthroughs to get all the endings? How long does that take?

I only finished Totori, but I needed 2 playthroughs for it. Though it was certainly possible to do it in 1 (I just screwed up with one of the events). How long a playthrough takes really depends on your playing-style, but if you're going for the plat, 60 hours sounds about right. But I took 100 since I took forever thinking about how to save on time, which was completely unnecessary since I had so much time left at the end.

Hmm OK. Sounds like the sort of game you have to follow a guide for to get everything? I guess if the endings have trophies then a trophy guide would be enough to not miss the events.

Yeah, if you want to get them all in one playthrough, taking a quick peek at a guide doesn't hurt. There are only a few things that you need to keep an eye out for, so knowing about them ahead of time helps. Oh, but this isn't a game where you have to follow a guide closely to get everything. It's pretty loose with most requirements. As I said, there are just a few events you need to watch out for, so feel free to just skim a guide and start playing without having to constantly check.

Thanks! I'll just look out for one that lists all the ending requirements, don't want to be staring at a guide the whole time for sure.

There are many ways to screw up if you're trying to get all of the endings in a single playthrough. I attempted to do so myself but gave up about a year into the game.

Welp, got tales of graces f on the eu psn sale. Nothing else that I really want anyway.

Also, asking this is probably pointless seeing that I just made the purchase, but I made the right choice going for graces f instead of xillia right? :P

How much battling should you do in totori? I heard it is better to just gather and avoid fights whenever possible

If you're going for the True End you'll need to fight in some (a lot of) battles. There are also a few sections in the game that are going to be really difficult if you're not at the right level.

Hmm, wait a minute, why isn't atelier rorona vita not on US PSN?
Wasn't released [yet]! If it's anything like Totori and Meruru+, it'll be a stealth(or relatively so) release. Hopefully Tecmo Koei does decide to release it, though. It's a vast improvement over the original Rorona.

EDIT: beat you this time, yukianesa >:|

I don't know if this is Grace Chens sister or what but Chieh Chen is best Chen
She's the new lady that delivers the news of sales on the PS Blog.

So now Sony apparently revokes your access for refunded games? Has that always happened? Hell, I never would've deleted Dustforce if I knew that was going to happen. I've gone through so much hassle for that damn game. First the whole refund process, then the $60 deal which doesn't make any sense about how you can't use refund money for deals since know I can't play the original game in the first place. I hope it never gets patched and Capcom eventually dies and sells off all it's IP to people who will actually use them. After they release Deep Down.

haha i will get on that. didn't know the thirst for vita was real on GAF.
This was the VitaGAF's thread before it became the whole PS Family thread.

I'll second the motion for the atelier games. Already own the physical carts/Blu-ray of the games for my PS3 / Vita (Jap) before and I can't justify buying it for full price for the third time. They are good games but not worth triple dipping at full retail price.

EDIT: I found my PSP Go! I think I might bite that dollar Crash sale now... :-(

Why would they not revoke your access for a game you refund? When you take something back to the store do they give you your money back and let you keep the item?

i will make note and most def let sony know.

Why would they give me shit about refund money being different from regular money if they revoke the access to the original game? Plus, I don't know if my "Dirty Money" ( the refund money ) is gone off of my account yet. Since I use PSN cards to fund my purchases. Am I ineligible for any other sales now? And I wouldn't be so bitter if I didn't have to call Sony about 5 times for different things all relating back to this Dustforce refund. I might have to call more times in the future, who knows?

I don't have any experience with refunds, not sure what you mean about the refunded credit either. Just saying it's not odd that they revoked your access to the game, that's all.

This is from the PS Blog flash sale comments.

Someone mentioned that before I think...
But I doubt that Ys will be 50% off already. P4G could drop to $10 if they're upping the ante after it has been on sale time and time again for $20.

I'm still really jealous of that last EU sale. There were like 4 games I would've bought including Sorcery Saga... it leaves me wondering if we'll ever see another epic sale (like the one that had Muramasa for dirt cheap (sub $20) within months of release (I think it was that low... it was at least sub $25)... then again, I'm left wondering if SCEA will ever take their heads from out of their collective ass and work on getting the rest of the PSOne classics we've been clamoring for.

Everyday Shooter for $1 is awesome though. I'm stoked to have that on my Vita now, glad I never dropped $10 on triple dipping on the game. However, if that's the best this "mega sale" can offer, it seems like a "mega fail" for most gamers. :lol

cool. i will let sony drop hints from now on. thanks dude.
Drop hints if you want to drop it. As long as your job is not on the line you can do it.
I hope football manager vita comes out in NA soon. I'm quickly losing interest.

I thought it was already released on the NA store since I already saw it at the HK store a few days back? Though I can't buy it there since my account was suspended there.

Ignore Baekshi, he's garbage. If you want to drop hints and build hype, just do it.

I'm with Sasuke-kun.
Notice how I didn't believe the hype before this sale and then it showed up and it wasn't anywhere near the level of expectations generated by the hype after the hints? Yeah... can't say I was surprised -- so unless he drops hints and they actually deliver, I'd rather not have hints.

If he's in a place where he can get information on sales coming forward, maybe he can at least take VitaGAF input for SCEA back to the company in some way. Keep telling them we want the rest of the PSOne classics. We want more compatible PSP games with sales. We want more localizations and such. So on and so forth.

i can't believe they renamed her Chieh

Wait. So GCT is now CCT?

We well always call her Grace and she always stand for those ideals we have grown to associate with her, name change or not.

Was that really necessary to call someone garbage?
When they're trolling like that? Yeah. Sure. We got a nice heads up about a sale approaching. We even got a date for it. Shouldn't we be thankful for that?

I appreciate the hints. It's nice. What does it hurt?

The people who funded their wallets with $40-$100 in anticipation of this sale now have probably $40-$100 in PSN credit waiting on their account for something actually worth purchasing. :P

Personally, I get sick of someone trying to hype up something that most likely isn't going to be great, let alone mind-blowing.

I'd say those people make some strange, poor decisions. It's not like that money disappears, though.

I could say this about 90% of the preview threads on GAF. I'm not going to be a dick and post just to piss in their cereal, though. It's pointless negativity.

Oh come on. You were convinced there wasn't going to be a sale, and not only there is one, it already has 13+ pages of discussion on GAF. This is a great sale, just admit you were wrong and thank SCEA for their efforts. :p

Either way, it's a damn shame that this thread has people that consistently drive newcomers from posting here, or simply troll them with shitty answers.

Consensus usually has people leaning towards Xilla as the better overall game. Graces combat system is pretty fun but the story and characters made the a chore to finish.
