Edit: The use of the drums/percussion to simulate Samus' footsteps and the dissonant string section plucking set a really really tense/uncomfortable mood even in this little bit of music. Man they went all out on the ambiance now that I'm listening to it again.

Huh?!? I thought they just accidently recorded someone's footsteps like the cough in the Fire Emblem suite. That'd be pretty cool if that was their intention, though...I remember flipping out as a kid when I picked up on that.

I still listen to it every now and then, obvious recording grain* and all (not sure if it's just my copy, though I noticed some YT uploads have the same exact grain).

*Is that the right term? Grain? It's really noticeable in the All-Star bit of Original Medley, but I still love it anyway.

Tomorrow would be the day that could define the history of Nintendo Direct. If we don't get BiMonthly Direct announce tomorrow for Wednesday, then it would be first time in the history that Nintendo actually skipped on Bimonthly Direct.

I hope the developers add more taunts and moves that reference Akira. If Wario still has his bike it'd be cool if he had a bike pose or if some characters referenced Tetsuo.
