No, it's completely self-contained, so you don't need knowledge of P3 or any other Persona game.
This is easy. P4G is a great game. Ys is just a good game.

No question. Any Vita owner that doesn't have P4G is doing themselves a disservice, unless they absolutely can't stand the "school anime" setting. But even then, it's an outstanding game.

has anyone ever had an issue where on vita discounted games dont show the ps+ price i recently had this happen to me with injustice it kept saying 19.99 untill last night when it finally became 12.49 I hope this prolonged waiting for the price to appear doesnt occur on this upcoming sale today.

Though Injustice's was a glitch on their side that was fixed yesterday (along Blackgate) it has happened before.
Basically, double check before confirming the purchase.

There will never be a time where Chrono Trigger doesn't hold up.
I dunno exactly what Ateleir's characters/setting/tone are like but you're not going to find fanservice and moe in DanganRonpa. The characters are exaggerated anime archetypes like Phoenix Wright, but the tone is darker. If you didn't have a problem with PW's weird characteds you shouldn't with DR.

Also does anyone else wish there was a Tenchu collection on the Vita? I've been wanting to play the first two games badly, lately. I ripped my Tenchu 1 and converted it to play on my PSP and it is just not good trying to play it with one analog/nub.

That was because of the loading issues on disc for Chrono Trigger. Does that still apply to the PSN version?
Doesn't the DS version have a cropped vertical space due to the decreased native resolution of the DS compared to what the SNES could output?

This has been discussed lately here and many people mention the loading times as being unbearable in the PSN version, specially when opening menus (which is something you do a lot in RPGs) and battling. If it's anything like the PS1's version (I know it *is* the PS1 version but I dunno if the load times are any better because of the format), then I would avoid it. In the SNES/DS version it's all buttery smooth.
If it's your only way of playing Chrono Trigger though, I would absolutely give it a shot. Everyone should play CT.
DS version still goes for $40 bucks. not getting it at that price.
Thank you! Someone who thinks like me. You guys might be going gaga over the deal, but the fact remains that to get a few of the good games together, you're going to have to shell out some cash. This sale is ripe for a flash cash back. I'm gonna wait to see what happens.

I'm thinking about getting Chrono Cross. How does the digital version work since the game was on two discs? Does it have an icon for each disc or have they combined them or something?
