US PSN: Golden Week Sale Celebrates Japanese Games

I guess I'll be purchasing Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Vagrant Story later today.
I already own Chrono Trigger on the SNES, as well as two copies on the DS [I wanted to keep one sealed], but I'll still be purchasing the PSN version. It will be nice to be able to play both Chrono Trigger as well as Chrono Cross on the same handheld [Vita]. I also own Chrono Cross on the PS1 but, of course, it'd be nice to have a portable version of it.
As for Vagrant Story, I've never played the game personally, but I've read some very good things about it. For the price, how could I say "no"?

It was a PS+ game on Vita a few months ago, however. So if they owned a Vita or PS+ subscription at that point it probably won't be an issue.
I agree that not being Crossbuy is a bit of a bummer for the MGS collection. Also think it's a bummer that MGS1 isn't included with the MGS collection. I want to get into the series so I just ended up buying the PSN version of MGS1 for the full price.

I've resisted buying anything in this sale. A lot of great stuff, but they would just sit on a hard drive somewhere not being played. I already have so much on my plate. If I bought anything it'd be because I fell in love with the idea of owning these games rather than having a plan for actually playing them.
Basically, it's a trap. More often than not, buying games for a rainy day doesn't work. But props to all of you that actually play and finish them. I wish I were more like you, and that's not sarcasm.

I believe those are the usual prices for those games, actually. Get both if you're up for some scary gaming, they're both good.
It's better than the completely uninspired dub job. In Saturday Morning Cartoon terms, it's much better than Beyblade, but not nearly as good as Digimon. It's Pokémon level perhaps.

Curious why those who are buying Totori aren't buying Meruru. The Atelier games very rarely go on sale.
Don't be fooled, we are all miserable buying games on sale. At least it's not as bad as on Steam though, I don't even go on there anymore because of the ridiculous prices they have games at.
They got a week to play Totori and decide if they want more. Or they expect another sale, whichever.
but PSN games don't repeat sales that much, so if you miss out, it may be YEARS before they are back, if at all

In Canada. Tried this and got a code and it didn't work...FML a digital code didn't even work. Not sure if I need to get one from Canada...I shouldn't though. I bought a digital code (tearaway) before and it worked fine. WTF

Money cards are region locked, you need one from Canada. Game and DLC cards are sometimes not locked between countries of the same region, that's why Tearaway worked before.

Totori and Meruru are soooo good, everyone should get them.
Yeah, I'm pretty excited. Vagrant Story is one of the few PS1 classics that I never managed to play.

Im pretty sure Ys Celceta is not going to be $20 again anytime soon. Its the cheapest it has ever been right now, and is definately worth the price.
Man you were going to waste $10 on Time and Eternity! Put those towards a better game
Time and Eternity seems like the game that should only be bought if you have THAT much money to just clean the floor with the sale, or if you are just particularly masochistic. Even then in the case of the former you could use your hard drive space in better ways.

What's happening when you try to use Paypal to add funds? That's what I've been doing ever since they allowed it on the SEN site. Never had an issue before.
