You want a reason? Dozens upon dozens of Souls players here disagreed with you and you have not shown ANY proof. So yea, we're skeptical of your claims.

The leaks are already been confirmed by two Sony insiders to be true. Another has been teasing this for a long time.

It's 100% real and nothing from the leaks look anything like Dark Souls 2.

If you are to take into account rumors and this very, very striking leak, I find it hard to imagine this is bogus. It would be one thing to fake one image, but an entire series of them? This isn't The Legend of Zelda: Valley of the Flood, but a significant chunk of images and details.

It takes a lot to try and make Dark Souls II look more focused on pirates, guns, and monsters not even seen in the game. It looks similar to Dark Souls II because I'm sure all engine changes made for that could also be things that will be a part of Project Beast.

Sony don't care. They certainly wouldn't try to burn Activision for it, especially considering Activision currently have a co-marketing/exclusive DLC deal with Sony for Destiny.

Honestly I think hes referring to the gate in the tunnel leading to Heides Tower. The one with the lever you must pull and have it rise up. It has a similar looking gate, but that is the only thing he can possibly be referring to.

Ive played an embarrassing amount of DS2. I have the game memorized at this point. He is either talking about this gate or he is just flat out trolling.

God, E3 is going to be wonderful, isn't it?

As much as I love Dark Souls 2, Miyazaki's personal touch was clearly missing. And although he hinted his next project would be "something warm" in tone, it's difficult to imagine anyone else leading the Souls' series first current generation entry, no? And this first batch of screenshots, as terribly compressed as they are, is very compelling. A Demon Souls 2/Beast Souls/whatever would be an amazing addition to the PS4's library.
