Precisely, not being able to understand the value of Demon's Souls and letting Bandai Namco take all the benefits with Dark Souls has been a HUGE regret for Shuhei Yoshida.

If SCE Japan and From Software are back on Demon's Souls II/Project Beast, then you can be sure that Sony is not going to be quiet with this one

I really hope this is Demon's Souls 2 and not a spiritual successor to DS1. I absolutely loved the medieval Europe aesthetic style in DeS that was sadly, missing in DS1.

Anor Londo in Dark Souls is literally ripped from a real castle in France. You may not like the style of DS1 but it's certainly influenced by medieval Europe.

I so excited to see japanese games MS and Sony are going to have this gen.

Mostly Sony. The only Japanese games that Microsoft will be getting at most, are the big budget titles like MGS V, FF XV, & KH III.

The Small-Tier & Mid-Tier titles, however, are gonna be PS4 exclusive. Most Japanese 3rd party publishers have already learned their lesson as to where most of their audience for their games are after what had happened with 360 last gen.

It's surprising how From Software can command such devotion from the hardcore fanbase.

Just before reading this thread, getting any current-gen console was incredibly low on my priority list for the foreseeable future.

Fast forward to the Project Beast leak, and acquiring a PS4 is now very high on my list.

Sony made the right move in getting these guys on board.
