Demon's Souls started as a SCEJ x FROM collabo dude. This is probably the spiritual successor to Demon's Souls. Namco Bandai wanted another Souls game to make some mula so FROM possibly decided to accept and make something similar but the proper sequel is this one I bet.

I know all of that, It just annoys me that we got a phoned in sequel made by a B-team while they were working on something that is obviously going to be better and not even available on PC.

Supposedly capped via a private webstream, which makes sense with the mouse cursor on top. if you make caps from a video file, there wouldn't be a cursor (assuming you didn't just printscreen it), but used the built in screen cap function.

I'd heard it was some private press/industry only stream or something. :/ But I doubt we'll ever find out where it actually came from x_x

I think its pretty obvious with Souls coming from Demons Souls, a playstation exclusive, and the 350k Jp sales that the majority of sales come from PS3.

In the US (NPD) the Dark Souls 2 split was 51% PS3, 49% 360. I thought the split would be higher honestly.

There is never a reason to make a game exclusive, unless it is completely made by Sony, M$ or Nintendo. From Software isn't owned by any of those three companies, I have no idea why they are making another exclusive game. They are shitting on the people that buy their games, but have either PCs or Xboxes. Even worse than From Software making it an exclusive, is the people who actually thinks this is a good thing.

I'm not exactly as upset as he is(I think Dark Souls 2 has been alright so far), but I don't like having a game I want being exclusive to a console. Yes, it is understandable why they would do that, and From/Sony can do whatever the hell they want. However, that doesn't mean I'm in any way obligated to like or support that

Yes, and I know it's not realistic to expect that, but I hope it is anyway. I don't mind it being exclusive, I'll gladly buy a PS4 for that, but not having an option to play it at 60fps kinda sucks when I'm used to it. It'll be hard to get used to Demon's when I get to that after Dark II.
