You know, I'd understand the massive fit you're on if it wasn't for the two collaborating for Demons Souls. This isn't a Bayonetta situation in which it was bipartisan and multiplatform in the first and exclusive in the 2nd game. Get over it. Time to buy a Sony Playstation 4.

Exactly. I'm hyped for a sequel to an exclusive franchise...how is this any different then wanting a sequel to ratchet and clank or yakuza? Are those examples of sony bias too? Or is it just concerning a demon's souls sequel?

It'd be annoying if team Sony was salty - they get the game on PS4 anyway, and the PC port is just a superior version people can have access to. It's not like they'd lose access to the game

Don't you folks want to see it come to xbox and pc too? I mean PC version will always be superior anyways if it's like all the ps4 games out so far and won't reach 60fps. 60fps in Dark Souls 2 makes it absolutely incredible.

I don't really care if it's exclusive or multiplat as long as I can play it on my PS4. It wouldn't be bad if it was also for X1/PC, but there's nothing wrong with it being exclusive either. From's B Team will still likely be doing Dark Souls 3 for everyone so what's the big deal?

I don't think skyrim openness is moving anything forward or a good thing for that matter. Dark Souls 2 is more "open" but the levels are more "flat like/plains" like skyrim compared to Dark Souls 1 and Demon's Soul's which have mazelike levels and looping. That's a big criticism from people that played Dark Souls 2 including myself. Is it possible to combine both? i'm not sure but what they did for Dark Souls level design was a step back for me.

because I believe From Software has more in them than dark fantasy RPGs inspired by Berserk and "sometimes we make a mech game". since about 2009 the overwhelming bulk of their output has been either one of these two game types. i'd really like to see them branch out into other genres, other styles of play, OTHER COLOR PALETTES.

If by 'winning E3', you mean what people usually mean, which is something of a majority opinion, most the people who will pay attention to E3 will not own, or not care to own a Wii U, so it doesn't matter what Nintendo announce, they will not generate nearly the excitement the other two will. They will not 'win' E3.

I say "winning E3" is having the best content. It's odd to go to a majority rules argument when the Souls series is still pretty niche. It's not clear if Beast Souls on PS4 would even outsell Zelda on Wii U.

If being "cool" at E3 is not giving a shit about a brand new Zelda reveal, then I guess I'm officially "not cool" anymore.

Why not? This is borderline port begging, and Demon's Souls was in many aspects the best game in the series (imo, obviously). So seeing them work together with SCEJ is a positive for me. It doesn't matter what platform I play the game on as long as it's a good game.
