Didn't you guys know? Every 3rd person action RPG with monsters and knights is a dark souls clone. Every 3rd person cover shooter is a gears clone. Every plush toy is a sackboy clone. That's how our brains work. Please understand.
 
Really hope this game turns out well (and in that case, also sells well) for Insomniac's sake, and just in general even though I don't have an Xbone. The more good games out there the better.

That's kinda the boat I'm in. I'm still sold on the art style, even though the characters revealed are kind boring looking. I expect cooler people to be revealed later. But man, all the writing accompanying the screenshots... they lay it on thick lol

Fizzie is a highly stylized cartoony character with very few distinguishing features (apart from its clothing), that's why you can project many different things onto it, including characters deliberately designed so that they could be highly customizable through paint jobs, clothes and accessories (for example, Sackboy, Dunny toys, Funko Pop! Vinyls and so on).

What do "super defenders" do in your opinoin? Because I've seen a lot of people defending the game from unwarranted hate, or telling someone not to port beg.

Lol I hope I made the cut. Calling out people who shit up the thread isn't defending imo.

That being said I'm done doing that in this thread since it's a constant stream and there's no way to address every post of that nature.

Typical defense force tactics in every thread even remotely related to their brand of choice, I can understand defense, but hostility along with it isn't cool. The comments saying that Fizzie looks like sackboy, I thought sackboy was supposed to be a sort of generic style plush toy? Fizzie just looks like a plush toy to me...
 
At first glance it looks boring, hope that is better than Fuse. Hoping Insomiac can do more than be the developer that made Ratchet and Clank.
 
I'm really excited. A large, colorful, fun environment to play around in. I wonder if they'll incorporate RPG elements as well. Thursday should be interesting.

He seems to have left because he couldn't back up the claims? If he comes back and continues to make the same claims without backing them up, might be worth contacting a mod.
 
Was this just recently announced? I had to Google it and I see it is an Insomniac exclusive on the One, and I truly have never heard of it until this thread.
 
That mascot looks more like Nibbler from Futurama than Sackboy from LBP. I don't even understand how that's the first thing that people come up with. Is it the appearance of stitches or the seam running down its face that's the thing?
 
Insomniac looks to be trying way too hard to be cool. They apparently have lost their mojo, and it is kind of sad to watch. They were once a good studio
