Wasn't this already announced? Or was it just rated?

Anyway, I'll get this, but what I really want is Ayesha+ with dual audio :P

Nice, this series always looked lovely. Would love to play it sometime though I lost count of how many there are. Would not know where to even start.

With this one, since it's the start of the Arland trilogy. (Why they did the enhanced version for it last, I don't know.)

The Arland Trilogy is as follows:
Rorona, Totori, Meruru

Then there's the Dusk Trilogy:
Ayesha, Escha & Logy, Shallie (Not yet released.)

Thanks, I actually have Rorona on my PS3 but I may as well go for this version if the extras are worth it.

By the way is that Tyler Hoechlin in your avatar?

This is by far the most changed of the "Plus" releases, from everything I've read it should be completely worth it (Rorona, being the first of their releases on PS3, was also the most in need of improvement).

I heard that the remake isn't as strict in regards to time management as the original one. Can someone confirm this?

Awesome, can't wait. I never actually finished the original Rorona, so going through with the improvements will be nice.

9GB for all three games on the Vita. A bit hard to swallow but I think I really have to buy a 64GB now. I'm not gonna whine about a physical release but downloading these would really take a long time here.

It's practically a remake, and it has a lot of new content and gameplay enhancements, so I think starting with Rorona Plus would be a good idea. (That's what I'm doing.)

And yes, it is Tyler Hoechlin. It's from a scene from Teen Wolf.

Still digital-only on Vita? I wonder why, this can't sell much worse than Deception. Will probably skip it then.
I kind of wonder if there's some internal politics at work or if they're just running with what they started. Huge games like those are kind of the ones that need to be on carts most though...

Well, I'll probably go with PS3 myself. The games are a good fit design wise for handheld but I'm neurotic enough about performance. Not like an NIS strategy RPG or a typical indie that only loses resolution. Never mind the angle of having the whole series physically on PS3.

Seems like that's the "more info" they promised today. No Shallie news yet, I guess.

Physical PS3 = obvious get, not sure about Vita for day one but...

After the Dusk series I don't think I can go back to Arland, but it's nice they're releasing it nonetheless.

added the new info to the OP

I'd imagine Shallie is a ways off, hopefully hear about Ar No Surge before that

Nice, now time to finish the trilogy...

We just need Ayesha and the next trilogy to grace western VITA's. Only problem is, they stopped using the Phyre engine after Ayesha, which mean that ports will probably no happen, correct?

ready for the action sex.

Still haven't played much of totori i bought during the sale :X

curious if this and meruru runs a bit better on vita, totori struggles to keep any kind of framerate lol

I'll grab the PS3 version I guess. Already finished the original though. What I should really do is finish Totori and play Meruru.

Woo!

Definitely getting it.

What makes the dusk series so different?

Less creepy fanservice, and a slightly darker tone. And personally I never found funny Arland's trilogy sense of humour. Don't misunderstand me, I liked both Totori and Meruru, but the Dusk saga is more my cup of tea.

One of the Rorona screenshots shows a garden you can plant things in!

I wouldn't expect the releases to stop just because they switched engines. I think Escha & Logy started development around the time they started doing the Vita re-releases, so I imagine Gust/K-T at least thought about how a Vita port might work. Plus, there are Dynasty Warriors games for Vita, so some version of that engine runs on the handheld.

It's truly the year of Vita. Will gladly double dip, but I have to delete stuff from my 64 gig card.

Hopefully Kotec localizes rest of the Vita games: Ayesha Plus, Orochi 3 Ultimate and Samurai Warriors 4.

Time to plat meruru before this one..already on NG+ so hopefully it would be easy. XD only game i'm getting in June (although a stealth mon-mon release might change that).

Never played any of these, possibly thinking of starting. Are there "plus" or remake editions for all the PS3 games now? I don't have a Vita so I would be playing on the PS3 and wondering how these versions are.

Not our fault you couldn't handle the Barrel. :P

No. Rorona was a special case in that it was the first PS3 Atelier, and Gust were clearly still figuring out a bunch of stuff back then with their engine and, to some extent, with the game mechanics. As a result, the original has a relatively low level of polish compared to the Atelier games since then. New Rorona Atelier (as it was termed in Japan) was always intended to be more than just a Plus edition, with a more significant overhaul of every facet of the game. So it made sense to re-release on PS3, whereas Totori and Meruru didn't change enough to bother.

Will buy, eventually. Just got Totori during the sale, so it'll be a while to work up to it. I've always thought these games looked very charming, and I liked the "item creation" systems in other Gust games.

I belive they use Tecmo engine now which as shown by Deception/DW8/Toukiden doesn't have much problems running on Vita.
