Yeah, I noticed this earlier. Quite funny that they decided to release that in the actual trailer.


At least it shows that it's definitely in game footage.

The more I see it the more its exactly this :)

Ratchet third person and open vistas (though even more open here), bouncy action shootiness, grinding and fast movement, cartoonish powers, but with Saints Row levels of shit-is-off-the-hook and do-it-because-its-fun-stupid for good measure.

I hope they have time to polish this puppy up to a nice shine.
 
Looks great. Don't own an Xbox One, and probably won't be getting one, but if I had one I would probably buy this.
 
Man, the wide FOV like in this game should be used more often in games. It makes controlling the character seem easier than the claustrophobic FOV we are used to seeing in games these days.
 
so glad to see the positive reaction this game is getting, despite it being an xbox one game. Although, places like N4G are a nightmare still. People already calling it trash..just because of its console. I have even seen one person say it looks like a F2P infamous game...which I thought was hilariously dumb

I liked Insomniac but they were mediocre last gen. This is a true return to form and then some. I see them going places this gen.

Any "fan" who who liked insomniac because of their console exclusivity was never a fan in the first place.

A fun looking game is a fun looking game, no matter the console. It isn't like GAF is Sonyland like this post suggests.

Am I tue only one that notices that the van is an actual cutout and not a "real" vehicle? Pay attention to the front of the van

That's annoying the resolution framerate war drives me nuts, graphics whores should get a PC and avoid consoles
 
Oh my god that looks awesome. Great to see insomniac making a game like this again.

Argh, this my next gen console decision just got a lot harder, this looks like it could be a great reason to get an xbone.

To each his own, I guess. I thought I remember you from the inFamous thread saying how much you enjoyed the game. That game does nothing for me, as I strongly disliked the last game in the series. It doesn't mean that it's a bad game, just not for me. And it sounds like SO just isn't for you.

They really, really weren't.


Ratchet and Clank Future (all four games) were fantastic, and so were Resistance 1 and 3.

I havent been actively on here in the last couple of months(other than for infamous paper trail)...but it definitely wasnt like that the last time i was here. That is good though

This is very pretty, but for the life of me I can't figure out what they're going for with those nearly constant motion lines. This effect screams "I'M A MOTHER-LOVING SPEED DEMON, WOO, GOTTA GO FAST", but the player never moves particularly fast, so it only makes the game seem slower. Weird.
