Sony's E3 2014 - What are we all expecting?

Already answered, and still according to him, Titanfall is going to PS4, and is already running at 1080p.

Edit: and our bird answered the game is not comingo to PS4 because Microsoft definetely owns it. Maybe the second.
 
Not sure if this would be at Sony but I really hope we find out what the next rockstar game is at E3. The released almost a game every year last gen, gotta figure they have something in the works for 2015.
 
That "leaked" list is obnoxious because it's really nothing more than someone reading forums and saying "Hey, that sounds possible". People instantly speculated that Kill Strain sounded like a Syphon Filter name, so he claims that it's connected to that series. GT7 Prologue is something that people expect to happen, so he says that is as well. Same for Media Molecule's game being Morpheus compatible and Guerrilla's game being an RPG. It'd all be awesome if it were true, but it's boring in the sense that it's just someone tossing a bunch of speculation together. Wipeout and a Ninja Theory game are the only two that seem to come from any original speculation. And I can't think of a single reason why Sony would work with NT again, and if they did it sure as hell wouldn't be on Heavenly Sword 2.

I am expecting some answers on the future of PS+, be it good or bad. With this whole Driveclub bullshit being pulled, Sony should address if it is a possible new model they are attempting. If it isn't the worst case scenario some are worried it is (and with how the console industry has been trying to fuck the consumer who can blame them), sitting on that info will only breed distrust; However if this is a new model, not being forthcoming will do nothing but breed greater resentment.

the wording for that announcement still lingers in my mind. "exclusive for the life of the product", if the game was exclusive forever why wouldn't they just say that instead of this particular wording. to me, life of a game product means from launch to the last DLC release.

Simple. Expect an amazing looking game that will set a visual benchmark for consoles. Pretty much the same way the original Uncharted games did on PS3. Will be glorious to behold I'm sure.

It's a direct to video movie. I'd be shocked if they had anything additional planned for it. The Sly and Ratchet movies are at least releasing in theaters.

I'm really not sure why they posted it. It really just reads like a typical rumor list that pops up around every major gaming show. And the conference is a month away from now and those things are always a bunch of moving parts. Things that were planned could easily slip the next day or week. That Destination Playstation leak that turned out to be accurate mentioned that Rockstar was going to show something there but pulled out at the last minute. So, I can't imagine that Sony would have such a long list at this point of games that will be shown.

I guess it is something I simply can't imagine.

I think Infamous looks great, and that is open world.

I am trying to visualize something that looks amazing compared to it(Second Son) and I am having issues.

IMO it won't look as good as the order 1886. Mark my words

Same thing happened to Killzone shadow fall which runs on the KZ2/3 engine. It is very easy to notice the problems with the visuals while playing the game

The Order 1886
+Running on a brand new engine with 5 years of R&D
+Soft body physics
+developed from the ground up for next gen specs

Uncharted
-Using the same Uncharted/TLOU engine
-Legacy code might not translate as well on PS4

we will see what happens, but I am putting my money on the order 1886
 
I dunno about Driveclub, it doesn't seem much of a conference game.
Maybe a short trailer and then playable at the floor, but a live demo during the conference seems pretty boring and it just eat time for other things.
 
if they ever did show TF I'd hope it was just a splash screen and then they'll just move on with the more important (:P) stuff of the presentation


like how they announced Minecraft coming to Playstation consoles

They already put out the trailer with the release date. There is no need to see it again at the conference.

They all implode in the end. They reach a critical mass of information and collapse in on themselves before releasing x-rays that give 'super educated guesser' powers to whole new generation.

And that's why I love E3 season.

Pretty sure Twisted Metal is dead. IIRC NPD sales were pretty poor and the game didn't make much of a dent in the European charts either. At the time there was a lot of bad word of mouth about poor internet connections which will of also hurt the games legs.

I think people expecting or wanting Sony to make a Crash Bandicoot should probably give that up. There's no reason at all to expect them to ever develop another entry in that series since they don't own the IP.

And if Sony Japan works on any platformer it should be a new Ape Escape.

Well if it is there, I sincerely hope the presentation is a brisk one.

This game has had enough exposure and the conference needs to focus on more eventful showings.
 
I want a classic Ape Escape with Move controls so bad :(
 
If they show off Project Beast and Uncharted, that's all I need. The Order, Guerrila Games, SSM, Media Molecule, TLG, Polyphony, and QD are all just bonuses.
