I have no problem with them since its pretty easy for me to get exactly what I want in a short time. They're crap.

Heart Gold day one. Cyndaquil for the win, I will crush everyone with him again. And my army of mad useless Ursarings.
Does anyone actually play as the girl?
5 years later and I still hadn't bought it. Curses.
I really hope the new forms or Megas or whatever do have a superpowered weather ability though. Like Rainstorm or whatever that's permanent again. I mean it's Kyogre. In any case, bring on Kyogre, the rain, and thunder. Fuck yea
You need to get on that.5 years later and I still hadn't bought it. Curses.

They especially need to add some fire types. If I remember correctly your only choices for fire types were Torchic, Numel, Torkoal and Slugma.

Any DS cartridge with an IR sensor built in looks like that.
Honestly I think a better system if they wanted to keep the diversity is give every pokemon the same number of IVs but allocate it differently. You'd still have more optimal builds, but there'd be more variety and pokemon aren't going to be as blatantly superior just because you have more timeI was thinking the same thing, but just trying to be hopeful.
I think hidden power could easily be based off a different innate value assigned to a pokemon. IVs in general are useless in its current form. If you argue they're there to be unique, that's wrong, because clearly you can get perfect IVs if you spend a tedious amount of time doing it. If you argue they're there to just further empower a pokemon, it's the same thing as having no IVs at all. Fuck that shit.
I feel like Ludicolo gets mentioned primarily as a joke, but that dude fucking tore through those gen 3 games. Give him Shadow Ball, Surf, Ice Beam and Giga Drain and he + Blaziken could pretty much take care of the entire game from Winona on up (never played Emerald; I've heard Tate & Liza are way harder). I think he'll really benefit from the expanded movepool/Enargy Ball (plus a possible mega?).

oh , i see
i just put my black 2 front of light and found it
1 > 2 > 3 = 4 = 6 > 5
I'm from the Yellow/Red/Blue/Green Era though.

I agree that breeding to help make getting the iv set you want would still be included. It'd just make it so that you have to actually make choices between IV sets, and different sets for a given pokemon might need different spreads, Rather than perfect being optimal for anything unless you want to use hidden power (which is just as if not more annoying IMO)I agree with this, you could still allow IVs to be effected by breeding too, so you could breed to get the right ones, or you could just catch pokemon till you find them.
1=3=4=6>2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>5
Unova starters sucked.
Do you ever visit the other regions to capture / battle gym leaders like you do in Gold & Silver? I feel like if a game can basically include 2 games for the price of one then why buy anything else?
I always hate when you can't catch earlier pokemon in the newer games. The tagline is gotta catch em all.
Isn't that tagline in the new trailer though? No. Having two regions in the game caused one region to be short and another to be empty. To keep the balance, they'd have to lock you out of your Pokémon in the second region to avoid a repeat.
Also, the "Gotta Catch 'em All" tagline was absent from 2002 until 2013 and only exists in the west, not in Japan so it has no impact on the actual games.
#TeamFormesSo according to Serebii the designs are definitely either new formes or mega evos, not just stylised drawings of the originals

Pretty obvious really but still, confirmed.
Guess that means there will be at least some minor changes to the storyline.

I think I am as well, if only because I think the only new Megas we'll get is latis. So either they're Megas, or no MegaSwampert/Sceptile#TeamFormes
Right, my badYes, it came back last year...
What are the chances of Brendan and May being removed as protagonists?

It is true that there is a leaked gameplay video?
Someone on my facebook posted a video and was put down and couldn´t watch it in time.

Right, my bad
Never. NEVER.What are the chances of Brendan and May being removed as protagonists?
Because the games that only have one region have one good region instead of one half-baked one and one that sucks. Trying to cram in two just means splitting up the development resources.
The first footage of HG/SS was revealed on Pokemon Sunday, iirc. Or whatever it was called during Gen IV. I think it was like a week after the logos popped up.
Think we might see footage of ORAS on the current Sunday Pokemon Program this week or next?
Remake. So, is this going to be a sequel or a remake?
