Do I have to start buying/installing games just to secure them now? I take it the chances of the game returning is the same as Crash/Spyro getting on the Vita...

It's playable. It's on the JP store.

I'll never ever play that game since it keeps remind me of Toto.

And since you guys keep linking it to him, I'll never be able to play it for forever.

Edit: Well, apparently it was removed on whatever store that was.

Damn it is easy to upgrade your vita. Turned on my new one, logged in to my account, activated the system. Popped in my old memory card, all games are there and work great, even Crash 1-3 that I got during the store glitch time.

Is it still PS3 transferable?

There are a lot of games that are still transferable like that (Valkyria Chronicles 2, Metal Gear Solid, Jeanne D'arc)

Unfortunately folders and bubble placement were reset, but I kind of expected that because that happens even if you switch memory cards on a single vita unless you take steps to prevent it. Still, I'd rather have to remake some folders and move icons around as opposed to re-downloading/transferring from PS3 60 GB of games.
 
Ok, finished Last of Us. Great game.
Almost at the end of Tearaway. Took me long because I didn't want it to end, ever, and because of a glitch I found. Amazing game.
I'm LOVING Muramasa. Having a jump button and the amazing Vita dpad help a lot with my enjoyment of it.
And I really, really want Shinovi Versus. Can't wait.

And I tried everything (deleted all files, including those for Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, even the save), but Ultimate MvC 3 still has no sound. Please, someone, anyone help me. Can't find people with the same issue on google. It is driving me mad. PLEASE.

That is a small price to pay. Backing up told me it was going to take 3 hours, which makes no sense as the screen does not dim during a transfer/backup so you would be almost guaranteed a burn in. Thanks!
 
Traded in my 2 physical US games in that Gamestop promo for PSN cards. Think I'm going to go all digital for the US account

Nothing like having everything with you at all times. It's a great feeling when traveling. I don't have to worry about ever misplacing a game (or someone else misplacing a game -.- ).

I just wish Sony would stop being ridiculous and release a 128GB memory card. If you want to say the Vita is the iPod of gaming, then it's obvious we need more storage.
 
I'm going to post this but I'm likely just going to be told that it's already been posted elsewhere. Not sure if it's related to PS4's 1.70 firmware but buying from the SCEE Store (UK) on the PS4 now allows you to pay using PayPal. I know that you could already add PayPal funds via the web store but last week was the first time that I've had the option of paying that way on the PS4.

I assume it's the same in other regions too.
 
Quick question: I have a Vita and 2 Dualshock 4 controllers. Is it possible to play, say, Towerfall Ascension with me as P1 using Vita Remote Play, and two friends as P2 and P3 using the Dualshocks? Would they need to be signed into a PSN account?

I tried playing Resogun's multiplayer mode with me on the Vita and a friend on a Dualshock, but this doesn't work because the PS4 can only run one account's copy of the game (online multi on one PS4/display doesn't work). But since Towerfall is local multi, would the above scenario work?

Dragon's Crown and KZ for $37.50. Picked up two $20 PSN cards. Wondering if I should rebuy Dragon's Crown digitally since it's $20 on sale right now or just save the money for something else since I'm mostly done with that game. Probably going to dedicate this Vita to PS4 remote play and PS+.

Hah just got PSN level 10 by getting Welcome Park trophies. To be fair I was using welcome park to fix a trophy syncing bug, but still. Really wish I could either delete half of the stock apps that come with the vita (looking at you Welcome Park and Near) or could make a folder big enough to fit all the stock apps, instead of having two folders named "Junk".
 
Is there no other way to deactivate a PS3 other than through the system itself? I got onto the SEN website to delete billing info and noticed I had two systems activated. One is the Vita I just got and the other was a PS3 I got rid of last year.

You can deactivate all your systems at once on the SEN website (yes, only all of them). You can do this every 6 months.

Or you can call Sony, as mentioned.

I think the 1.70 update jacked up my ability to download in standby. Whenever I queue something up it never finishes now. However it will download while the console is on. My save files aren't being synced to the server either. Man.

I'm prettysure you need to sign them into a PSN account, even a dud one should work.

For example I played Knack and Mercenary Kings via PS Vita Remote play which assumes I'm the first player, if the PS4 controller's on then it should boot it out and you'll have to reactivate it by pressing the PS button which should prompt you to select a account, if you select the original the Vita will be booted out of remote play, but if you select another account on the system (I get my friend to use my US account) then it'll make that controller player 2 (and I'd assume if you did the same with a 3rd controller they should be player 3)

I'll check if you need to actually have a PSN account to use another controller or can just make a user on the system without one though.

Yeah, just tried it and if you click on new user it'll let them use their controller as a guest one without a PSN account if you want to (although I'm not too sure for games that save data/characters if that guest retains them after turning off the system seeing as how they're guests) but it certainly does work.
