Aww jizz, excited for this.

Having said that, Godzilla was kinda meh. Hopefully this is a lot better than that. What other Summer movies are left after this?

Jupiter Ascending for me. New IP, and Wachowski's make interesting stuff... Their failures are at least interesting failures.
That is, if you believe some of their projects are failures...which I dont =P

Also, Dawn of Coming of the Reign of the Planet of the Caesar-led Apes.

Either this or Dawn of Planet of the Apes will be the summer blockbuster we need this year. Actually, well-- hopefully both.
 
I was working out in the hotel gym at comic Con a couple of years ago. Feeling good. Getting pumped. Then colossus (Daniel Cudmore) walked in and started benching everything.

I walked out backwards, doffing my cap like an errant cockney bootblack.
 
I would just like to take a moment to thank channel 4 and channel 5 in the UK for running every x-man/wolverine movie over the past week (except for the latest wolverine). Will be re watching x-men 1 & 2, and First Class with my kids who haven't seen them before, in preparation for this movie next week.

Not going to watch x-men 3 or wolverine: origins..
 
I still don't get how the time line works in this. How does the past that the trailers show happen knowing what occurs in X-Men 1/2?
 
2nd most hyped movie for me after Interstellar.

Got my tickets for thursday at 8pm. So hyped and ready for this.

Yea I knew it wasn't shot in IMAX, very few are, but I still tend to go to IMAX theaters just to see blockbusters on bigger screens and better audio. Looks like I get to save a few bucks with this one. Although if it's shot in native 3D I guess I should check out 3D...

I'd see it in 3D if my cinema wasn't showing 3D on the big screen at fucking 10pm at night. I'd be willing to go that late for the 3D screening if Jack the Giant Slayer's 3D was more impressive.
 
Starting to let my hype rise. X1,X2 and First Class were great. I'm hoping this will be too.

And yes, the even the best films really did a disservice to Cyclops. I get that Wolverine just became a much bigger character, but it's was ultimately at the cost of other characters.

Am I the only one upset that Darwin didn't make it back for this movie?

He arguably got one of the most interesting power for a mutant. It would have been cool to see more of him.

I know he exploded cause of the pure energy Shaw put in him, but people thought he converted himself into pure energy to adapt and would reform himself later. :( alas that's not the case.

That was one of the most disappointing things about First Class. Such a cool power with a bunch of potential and they just kill him off. He didn't even get to have a decent action scene or anything.

I honestly rather have Darwin than Havok in Days of Future Past. Depends on how fast his power adapt to the situation. Seeing him in combat must be amazing.

How does he even fight in comic books? In theory, his powers only give him abilities to adapt so he can survive, not fight.
 
The release of this really snuck up on me... one of my most anticipated films of the summer along with Guardians.

I will be there opening day :3
 
God, the X-Men movie canon is so all over the place at this point, but who gives a fuck?

I'm genuinely excited that we finally have a superhero movie shot in 3D. Honestly, has that ever happened before? Avengers was post-converted, Iron Man 3 was post-converted, Winter Solider was post-converted, Amazing Spider-Man 2 was post-converted. Were either or both Thor films shot in 3D? That's all I can think of right now.

It feels like an age since I've felt justified in buying a ticket for a 3D showing, yet here we are:
