Well I guess it depends on what you class as 'recent technology' as it was made with UE3 and it's 90s in design.

A lot of people told me that Metro LL is the best option for a different kind of FPS game but, i tryied 2033 and was boring as sh**, and with a horrible level design and a horrible gunplay, at least is difficult in hardest mode.

2033 is different than LL

LL is a much better game, I wouldn't bother trying 2033 nowdays.

I still think 2033 is a much better game than Last Light but most people disagree. They're structured differently and Last Light is much more action oriented so disliking one doesn't mean you won't like the other. Both are pretty good, interesting games.

How is the level design shit? Both games have open environments, including the indoor areas which more often than not have multiple pathways. One of the missions towards the end of 2033 where all three factions are in play is one of my favorite in any FPS.

God damn it. The 360 version (in Germany at least) has all 4 discs stacked. So much for seeing if I could find a blank case to replace my copy of Lost Odyssey.

Most games have a poor second half anyway.

I can't remember the last time I played a game where the second half was stronger than the first.

Yes, keys will be redeemable only after Zenimax provides more details about Doom 4. Hopefully they will unveil that game at E3.

Now that I think about it, I agree.

I know a lot of people hated the second half (too many outdoor sections, awful boss fights), but I loved it. Well, boss fights aside, of course.

Hype still inflated. All I want is a FPS with those shooting physics/dual wielding/chaos. Everything else is just there for marketing purposes (story, structure, emotions)

Ja. Lot more outdoor areas, and the indoor ones become more expansive.

Not exactly sure what you mean by this. If you ignore a lot of the driving and ignore the races apart from the 2 necessary ones it's all shooting with a bit of hubworld really. I liked how it changed things up tbh.

Best way to do it. Sometimes you'll find huge enjoyment in games if you go off whether they tickle your fancy or not, instead of relying on other opinions.
