Late to the party, but I both love and hate the villagers:

• Love them because it works better for representing the character in the original series.
• Hate them because I got stuck with the default one just because I wanted to get used to the one that's in Smash lol.

As for the "tanned" villagers yeah right, they made tanning take so freakishly long in New Leaf (ignoring the fact that the game is telling us we're tanned whites).

There should be an episode where a high-ranking "kiddy" fighter like Pikachu or Diddy Kong tries proving himself manly enough to make it into For Glory and For Fun is Weenie Hut Jr's. Sakurai eventually directs him to Super For Fun Hut Jr's.
