Amplitude (Harmonix) PS3/PS4 - KS (Funded, final day)

Never got into Amplitude or Frequency but one of my good friends from college really loved those games. I really hope that this makes it's goal. Might even decide to put a bit into it myself depending on how the next few days go.

The previous average was a lot lower than 500 backers a day, so it's still a substantial improvement even if the first few days were way bigger. I don't know if Harmonix can keep up the momentum but the trend for most successful Kickstarters is to go into overdrive during the last few days so I don't think it's unreasonable to think the backers per day figure will increase.

Of course, that said, right now both backers and pledges today are down from yesterday. Not the greatest sign. If Harmonix still have announcements to make (and they said at least one tier announcement is coming) they're cutting it extreeeemely close.

EDIT: oh, except Kicktraq is $12k behind the actual Kickstarter project, so the numbers are better than I thought?

??? They're only $2.5k away from $500k right now. They'll definitely make $500k+ by tonight. I'd say there's a small chance they make $550k by midnight if they make a new announcement and hype things up this afternoon/evening. Most of yesterday's pledges were in the afternoon and evening.

my old post was that it would have that much by tonight, now im saying that it will have 500K+ before tonight, if that makes sense.

I think the joke is that they'll hit $500k SOONER than tonight, and therefore you're wrong.

But it's nighttime somewhere on the planet so JOKE'S ON THAT OTHER PERSON SUCKA.

What the heck is happening that this is on a "tear" right now? Not that I'm complaining, I backed at a fairly high tier Day 1 and need this to succeed TO LIVE.

Never played the original, but I like Harmonix, so I'm in at the $40 level. Can't justify going any higher, but every little bit helps, right?
 
I raised my pledge to $135 for the t-shirt shipping outside the United States. That is the most I've spent for a game, especially a game from a series I've never played before! I love the Harmonix guys and have become a believer of this Kickstarter. I've done all I could and wish them all the best.
 
In for $20. I have reservations (assuming it actually gets funded), but I loved me some PS2 amplitude.
 
Woah, this looks like it might happen. I have to back this now.

It's too bad they aren't interested or can't make a Vita version. I don't play on PS3 anymore and I don't think I will have a PS4 when this gets released. Sony should just give them the resources, knowing that this can only be released on Playstation systems.

I have a feeling this is going to do it comfortable now, they usually continue to pick up until the last day, and if they're close they do usually reach it.

ehhh well the problem now is they are almost out of higher tiers? And yeah I do hope they introduce somemore midtiers a better $40 and then a bit more between $70-$200
 
You would think someone from Sony would make a big donation to make this happen. It's in their interest to have an exclusive like this on the PS4.
 
I'm not going to lie, I always say it - I don't do Kickstarter. But I will absolutely buy a copy of the game and am genuinely excited that Harmonix might make it.

One of my favourite developers.

Sony can't touch this at this point otherwise you'll have rabid fanboys and skeptics yelling that this was all a giant marketing exploit.

Just curious why you wouldn't support the kickstarter if you'd buy the game. 20$ pledge gets you the game.
