Don't expect anything at E3. Seriously. It is just a straight road to disappointment

And all of these PS4 games we've just talked about will have remote play available right out of the box so you can use your Vita accessory to play them on the go.

Now, on to more important things!

Even after a week, I'm still overwhelmed by the amount of content in Soul Sacrifice Delta. Besides the new stories and quests, there is also an endless boss rush dungeon and a random quest generator. There aren't many Vita games that give you so much value for your money, especially if you've never played Soul Sacrifice before. Even if you platinumed the original like me, you'll still find a ton of new content to explore.

Also, this E3 talk... lol. That is all.

You're the only reason I know anything about this game. I thought the game was an expansion though. Does clearing a Delta help with the platinum of the original?

You people are just setting yourselves up for disappointment

You can't transfer your Delta save file back into the original, if that's what you're asking. Keiji Inafune called the game Soul Sacrifice 1.8, which is about as accurate as it gets. Maybe not quite enough content for a full sequel but definitely way more than expected from typical (multiple) expansions.

you make me feel so much better about my Day One (with some allowances) of SS and SSD.

Sweet. Child of Light for July. and is pegged for 15usd. Gotta have that sweet UbiArt engine goodness.

please be at least Cross-Save zzz

I held off on Child of Light because I felt the Vita version coming, doing the same with Transistor - hopefully the wait works out there too.

EDIT: Also, I'm friends with many gaffers on PSN, but nobody is playing Borderlands 2 (Vita) ever it seems. Shoot me a friend request if you're ever up for giving co-op a try sometime: JakeNoseIt. Just include you're a gaffer in the message

I think I'm going to sell off my vita in case there's a price drop at E3, but I'm gonna upgrade to 2000 anyway.

Question about swapping systems though, can I just deactivate my vita now but with my data still on the memcard, and will all my data and saves be there when I activate it on the new vita?

I tweeted Sid Shuman to see if we would find out the June PS+ offerings before E3 or if it would happen during the conference. They have used the past two E3s to announce the June PS+ offerings, which typically include major games that are free throughout the year (2012 was: LBP 2, inFAMOUS 2, and R&C:A41, 2013 is currently LBP:K, XCOM:EU, and U3:DD). However, Sid told me that he expects a normal PS+ release schedule. I wonder what that means for PS+ in June. I was fully expecting the first PS4 full-release (maybe Knack or KZ:SF). If Sid is correct, we should find out June's PS+ offerings at some point next week.

My big question in terms of PS+ offerings is if the big 3 Vita games (Uncharted: GA, Gravity Rush and Wipeout) will be replaced? Been waiting for that rotation for some time.
No problem if they don't change, but it would be nice to see something else up there

I think it might. My speculation is that, instead of refreshing in December when the Vita IGC should have been (it started December 2012), they are aligning the Vita IGC refresh with the PS3/PS4 ones. If they do, I think the games will be Tearaway, KZ:M, or, P4G, but if those are the games, there really aren't many major Vita games left to add to IGC. They may want to hold off on the refresh.

I'd take a free Tearaway. Just sold mine to Target for $24, no looking back...

That's what I'm hoping for. Personally I would love to see PlayStation All Stars, KZ: M go up. I have both but my brother needs them so we can play each other haha. Otherwise, I feel like I might have every Vita release that would go up so it's inconsequential for me personally.

Did the same, didn't feel bad.

I'm almost convinced that SCEA is just waiting for that long overdue yearly refresh to add LBP Vita to the IGC. They could probably make some decent money from selling the DLCs.

Still sticking with LBP and PSASBR as my most likely candidates.

I completely forgot about LBP Vita and PSABR. If they do PSABR, it'd also be for PS3 since it's cross-buy, so that would be a good option.

I agree that those are probably the most likely (Sly also sticks out in my head for some reason). It would be nice to get PSAS into more peoples's hands (surge dat online) but I would prefer KZ take the place of LBP just so more people can take that for a spin too.

Wait, wouldn't there be 3 games to take the places of Gravity Rush, Uncharted and Wipeout, respectively?

It probably means the June preview will be posted before June begins and the games that are part of the annual refresh will be announced either at E3 or right before E3 like they did last year.

June 2013 Preview posted on June 3rd:

IGC annual refresh posted on June 7th:

Is Child of Light any good? Might get the Vita version.

am I the only clown that insist on the R1 versions of retail games?
thinking of going full digital on PS4 - the convenience is great and I doubt I would sell the games I do buy away.. but sigh.

bought the PS4 Vertical stand yesterday. now I'm thinking of the Official Dualshock4 Charger.. what's wrong with me.

Nothing - vertical stand looks great and the charger is super useful

So I just noticed the 2 dlc for Muramasa rebirth is on sale. I barely started this game. Could they bundle it in the future once the last 2 characters are done and discounted?
How long will the sale for Persona psp games last?

I forgot that you're an ace combat fan too. I remember you saying you don't like gen 7 ace combat games.

-Folklore- Worth it. Kinda gets repetitive though because you have to traverse the same map twice using 2 characters.
-Eternal Sonata - Not sure but I had fun.
-Asura's Wrath - Best QTE game ever. If you're not a fan of QTE, don't buy. But it's like an anime in itself. Made by CC2(.//hack and Naruto) so you can rest assured the animations is superb.
-El Shaddai -Haven't played this. I heard it's good though.
-NieR -Best OST and Story for me. Gameplay is servicable but fun nonetheless because of its genre changing properties like turning into a bullet hell, horror or platforming game.
- Heavy Rain -Cinematic game where every decision counts. Multiple endings and quite suspenseful story. Had fun using the shaun glitch at the end. I recommend watching this for laughs. parody
-- Star Ocean IV International - Very good battle system. Kinda bit grindy with the in-game trophies though. Do not pay attention to the story. I liked it.
-Resonance of Fate - Story is very fragmented but has an awesome and new battle system with amazing customizations of weapons and clothes. I liked it very much. Kinda like a prototype for FFXIII-LR costume customizations. (It's a square enix game too.)

thanks for all the replies man! :D
I shall hunt these games down :X glad they aren't bad choices. none of them are on PSN right?

I feel better now :D just set them up too

We need to play online sometime. SSD or BL2 maybe?

we should but I'm not too comfy with Party Chat though :/ SSD sounds good, have a friend who's a lurker who's keen too!

I buy the R1 Retail versions of games if they had DLCs, online stuff since my main account is a US PSN. R3 is okay for me for games that don't have a significant online content. R3 games actually has some good DLCs added (e.g. Toukiden, FFX, DBZ etc.) so sometimes I break my own law with regards of this.

Since you're not interested in Buy and sell side of your games, go full digital. The game prices however stays quite high compared to physical ones.
It's my birthday today, everyone should congratulate me
Happy Birthday!

Nice to hear Child of Light is coming to Vita. I've picked it up on PS4 and I'm enjoying playing it though slowly with my daughter in co-op, but I might be tempted to double-dip with some kind of incentive.

Danganronpa 2 will be GOTY

It drops to single digits

I'm always entertained by how awkward Aigis always is

P3P October Spoilers
Well I certainly didn't expect him to go out like that. I mean it got spoiled for me just not the how. That scene with Akihiko in the auditorium :(

Going to play Demon's Souls for the first time. Is the Knight any good?

Believe in GamesCom.

Fixed

I know that is wishful thinking, but I would love inFAMOUS : What If inFAMOUS 2 Evil Ending Was Canon? - Vita Edition

The wait for Borderlands 2 seems so long over here... oh well, back to PDf...

I thought about this :) You're Delsin, you still play in Seattle, but you see how the world would be with the bag ending and you have to fight against Cole and other conductors.
