1. I wasn't that high on the future action.
2. This is definitely a Singer film, and that's ok.
3. QS' one action scene was utterly brilliant. Just brilliant.
4. McAvoy is suuuuuuuupremely talented.
5. Stewart, finally, is starting to look old. Makes me sad.

6. Jesus fuck wolvie was ripped in this.
7. Halle Berre had like 2 lines in this thing and she botched em. HORRIBLE.
8. Some nice cameos at the end. "Please forget X3."
9. Dinklage was fine but felt like a prop. Wasn't given much at all.
10. I thought it got a touch too cute trying to incorporate real history into this alt history.
11. Did I already mention Hugh Jackman? Because good lord Hugh Jackman.
12. I saw it in 3D and it was clearly an afterthought. That's good, because there was no obvious "jump at you for no other reason than 3d" moments, but it also wasn't really incorporated in any way.
13. You'll have to be a vet of the books to understand the post-credits reveal.
14. As central as Raven/J-Law was to the film, she felt awfully shallow. I never felt the tension with her and mcavoy or her and fassbender. Not like I should have.
15. There are some feels, though. Charles-on-Charles action was fantastic.
16. Some interesting imagery with drug use and addiction metaphors this time around, rather than the go-to minority rights themes present in all the others.
17. Holy shit, X-Men: Apocalypse.
