Huh? He was anti PUA stuff.

I think a lot of PUA is bs, but pua stuff tends to revolve around killing those "nice guy" habits and taking action. He seemed very passive.

Instead of complaining why some ugly guy got a hot blonde, why didn't he ask girls out or make himself ,ore attractive personality wise?

In the end, though he seemed to have bigger fish to fry mentally.

Join a sports league, volunteer somewhere, find something where you interact with many different people like a part time job maybe. Your social skills will improve and you'll make friends.
Hell, go to a strip club and get a few lap dances. Sure the strippers are in it for your money but they're very convincing and it's good practice at actually speaking to hot babes. Each time I've gone to a strip joint ive gotten a big confidence boost.

Honestly, all of these forums are becoming as bad as Stormfront. At least there, you know what you're getting and those people tend to keep to themselves.

It wasnt just a "lol a hanshake" on that forum though.

It was literally guys emasculating him over and over. Surely there has to be a limit to what is accepted. Flying off the handle from a "Lol that is weak" and page after page of " U beta bro. U fagggg"
The latter is what the entire BB culture is built on.

We all want freedom of speech, but there has to be some responsibility in there. Especially when such forums are populated heavily by groups still being mentally developed, and are highly sensitive to body and mental issues(Young men).

Again, it doesn't necessarily take the vilest of comments to set someone off. As I stated before to someone with a frail ego, superiority complex, self loathing and lacks empathy even lighthearted jokes can be all it takes to push them over the edge if they already gave up on themselves.

Society doesn't know how to deal with the social ills of the disenfranchised. I can agree with the sentiment here but my focus on psychiatric care over societal restructuring is purely because one is much more easy to achieve than the other right now.

His videos have him choreographing his own way out of the situation. I think he took the concept of "punishment" and applied it to his own personal problems. He probably needed some mental help, so someone could of rationalized with him. He probably showed no signs of having a mental illness and could of possibly not of had one. There isn't a test that says "this person has this illness and etc", he would of needed to have gone and gotten professional help.

This is so freakin insane. I go to UCSB, and was actually planning on going to a 7-11 about 15 minutes before this lunatic shot it up. Thankfully I decided I didn't need any more food. My roommates were 2 blocks away from the shootings and had to run inside a subway and hide out there. I also know a few people who weren't able to return to their homes because it was taped off and had to sleep in school buildings that were offered for them. It sucks that there are many parents who lost thier kids last night because of some mentally ill person. Things seem to be getting crazier around here with the Deltopia riots just last month and now this.

Yeah, how he's spinning that he's "trying to help" is pretty hilarious. The fact people like him exist, and the services they offer exist, would only contribute to the self-made suffering people like this killer had, for it would only continue how seriously he was taking what he lacked.

I lack everything he lacked with relationships, but I don't feel one iota sad or miserable about it, and I have zero reason to commit malice on any other person for it. But this because I know those sorts of things are social ideas, that one must do X, Y, and Z by whatever time frame or context there is. The problem I see is many, many people do not realize that; they confuse the ideas, the social stereotypes, as reality. They then compare themselves to others, and thus create pockets of inferiority in their identity.

This depraved man was totally caught up in it; he compared his wealth, his physical anatomy, and his experiences to others. He confused what he had with ideas on what ought to be, and he was a saboteur to himself all the way to the point of wanting to kill people over it. Most people only get so far to self-made depression, but some very tragically go one step further.
 
Woah, I recognized him because his mother was on the french version of Real Housewives (named "Vraies Housewives") that aired last year on television (it was a flop so there's not gonna be a second season).

This story is absolutely awful from A to Z. Mental illness is nothing to joke about.

The guy had some mental issues that probably even the nicest responses couldn't have fixed, but yeah, getting hated on and gobbling up the MRA crap certainly didn't help his mental state.

This dude was clearly narcissistic and insane. His views on women are also laughable. Still, there are people out there who just aren't good with dating. This goes for either gender. I feel bad for those people. No matter how much they try there is something about them that turns off other people.

I would say to those people, try to figure out what you are doing wrong, or why it's not working vs. instantly blaming others. I think a lack of self awareness is common in a lot of these cases. An inability to even see why there might be something you are doing wrong.

Although I sometimes think people are born in the wrong area. Like some people just don't jive with the place they are living. Moving or meeting new people can make a world of difference.

He didn't seem to hate himself. If he did, maybe he would have been motivated to change something about himself. He seemed to rather push that hate onto the people he believed were at fault for his problems.
 
Damn I just barely left that general area about a week ago. (Vandenberg AFB). Used to take short trips down to Santa Barbara every weekend. This is crazy.

Could be both. Remember he killed himself in the end. Depends on if he went into his killing spree knowingly that he would kill himself or if it was a change of heart as he was about to get caught.

It is true you cannot diagnose personality disorders without a significant history of interaction with a patient.

From the videos however it seems as if this kid definitely has narcissistic personality disorder, possibly schizophrenia. His delusions of grandeur along with his distorted affect may qualify him as a schizophrenic.

Of course if he also had auditory hallucinations that would seal the deal but we have no way of knowing.
