I'm against Sonic being sick with his old style of moves. He does not look like Classic Sonic but Modern Sonic. Have you two bothered playing the games? I want to see the Wii Era games represented as they had his coolest abilities and more interesting storylines. (Not bring Archie Sonic into this. )

What are the abilities the Wii era Sonic has? I got no clue at all what's different compared to Brawl Sonic.

Yeah, I'm aware of the fact that we are getting Modern Sonic, but I just can't helped but feel that it is still awesome that we are getting other Mario vs Sonic in the fighting game. Two huge rivals against each other! Most of his moveset are based on Genesis which make it even more cool. I know it's not popular opinion but I played with old Sonic more than I did with Modern Sonic. Not because I don't want to; I just don't have time or money to pick up most of games that I'm interested in.

This is the problem with Sonuc, is SEGA keeps trying to reinvent the wheel with him and fails almost every time. So there is a circus of ridiculous Sonics out there. Just stick with the Sonic we have Sakurai, you could do MUCH worse.

I was ignoring Wisps on purpose. Not really what I was thinking of when thinking of Sonic's new abilities. Ignoring that he had a sword, and had the ability to turn into a werehog as well. All of those things are definitely not going to happen lol.

I find it weird people are differentiating the abilities between modern and old Sonic. Their basic abilities are the same and are well represented in Smash.

Should've said mostly the Wii Era. And if it was mostly based onit I'd be seeing the LightSpeed Dash as Homing attack or something. I feel it's just a waste making his moveset based on just one Era when Mario over there has multiple generations of moves that they put for him. Not equal or fair at all really.

Yucko pitooie!

I like Sonic's modern look and I love that Sakurai made Sonic a complete rolly polly with the majority of his moves. The last thing I want is Magic Hands, Sonic Wind, swords and stretchy ware wolf arms. Homing attack is and some of his basic kicks and punches from his 2 or 3 fighting games is all that's really needed and Sakurai understood this well.

That Reggie man... I'm expecting all that nonsense will just result in Reggie being announced playable but just as a Mii, which in turn we can use what ever Mii we want. I feel sorry for the alternate universe that gets that as a legit character. Well maybe they feel sorry for me for hating it so much.
