She is not called Emma Frost though. She is called Emma, and her sister is called Kayla Silverfox, meaning her full name is likely Emma Silverfox. Lastly in the credits she is listed as "Kayla's sister", again not Emma Frost.
"You were always an animal. We just gave you claws." Stryker said that in X2.
Not to mention Emma Frost in Origins. I don't recall the claws line either, but he could have been referring to the metal ones. The bone claws were always part of his mutation.
You're ranking matches mine to a tee I think. The wolverine i liked quite a bit despite the third act. Did a great job with his character IMO.Really enjoyed it. It was inches away from topping X2 for me, but didn't quite make it. I think it was partially because of the lack of the Singer + Dougherty + Harris magic combo, but hopefully with Apocalypse we'll finally surpass X2. But hot damn does Singer have mutants fighting down to a science - I loved seeing the teamwork on display throughout the film. Blink and Quicksilver were my personal favorite new additions. Overall, there is some serious crow being eaten by many-a-GAFer. So much for the "train-wreck" this movie was going to be.
As of now I'd rank them as follows:
X2 >> DoFP >>> X1 >>>>> The Wolverine (I enjoyed this more than most, I think) >> First Class >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> X3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> X-Men Orgins: Wolverine
So pissed off, ten minutes into the movie the theater (and the entire surrounding area) loses power for some reason. Power company saying online it looks like a malfunctioning transformer - 10k customers affected.
Have to keep track of my ticket stub to get a ticket to another showing later (probably tomorrow since who knows when shitty Dominion will get power back on), but really not looking forward to sitting through another half hour of the same trailers again.
Still, I was grinning from ear to ear hearing Ottman's X-Men theme again.
Are you in houston? The same exact thing just happened to me. Maybe we were in the same theater.
Does this mean Wolverine doesn't have an adamantium skeleton?
also how is xavier alive if he died at the end of X3?
Weren't bone claws a retcon in the comics?
During the 1990s, the character was revealed to have bone claws, after his adamantium is ripped out by Magneto in X-Men #25, which was inspired by a passing joke of Peter David's.

My assumption is that the Weapon X program will have been independant of things with Trask Industries. In fact, it's kind of strange that without Trask dying Stryker would have even gone through with it, but I guess at that point he was already committed to tooling around with mutants.
Better question is how is Jean alive. Apparently they are going to somehow say the whole Phoenix Saga would have never happened without the Sentinel Program which makes almost no sense but they've already shit all over the timeline anyway.
Seems like it;
WellProfessor X saw the future through Logan's mind and saw what happened with Jean, so I assume he took the steps prevent that whole catastrophe. Still doesn't explain why he's alive in the future though.
Well they weren't really revealed until Magneto ripped all the adamantium out of Wolverine.
Well if he prevents Jean from going crazy in X3, then he wouldn't have died in the first place.
I've never liked the bone claws. Always felt it took away from his Weapon X time and lessened what it changed for him.

The only reason they exist is because Marvel did a storyline about the Adamantium getting ripped out without telling the writer of the Wolverine comic and he had to think of a way to get Wolverine back to normal without ruining what he had been plotting.
I wouldn't mind if it got retconned away again.
How do you guys think the Sentinels would be able to deal with Quicksilver if he was there with them in the future?
With his speed its like time is frozen.
Or would he just be only able to avoid them but not do any damage?

Then yes, but not in the bad future. That's never explained.
Yeah but not like Colossus strong. He's essentially an exaggeration of the Native American warrior stereotype.Isn't Warpath suppose to be super strong too?

I saw it last night and thought it was great. It'd be my favorite X-Men movie, over X2, except for all the continuity issues it creates. Nonetheless it's impressive how well they pulled it off given thaBut I suppose they can explain stuff away in the next movie.t it's basically "let's undo everything that happened in Last Stand."
X2 > DoFP >>> X1 >>>>> First Class = The Wolverine >>>>>>>>>>>>> X3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Oh the wipe button goes back much further than that likeall the way back to 1973, so in reality NONE of the previous movies happened
Oh yeah. Watched the movie last night on a stream.
ORLY
They show movies on rivers now?!
That's not really true.Logan is still with the X-Men, Rogue is still there and has the white streak in her hair, Jean still is/was Phoenix. Much, if not all, of the first two movies still exist in the new future.
The word from Singer and Kinberg is that the previous movies have been revised rather than outright erased
Yeah. They really emphasized theanalogy in the movie."time is a river".So they were able to make modifications to improve the future but a lot of what was going to happen would still happen with only slight modification
edit: revised with spoiler tags just in case
lol, this guy.Oh yeah. Watched the movie last night on a stream.
This movie was no where near as good as people acted like.
Yeah the Magneto/Xavier/Logan parts were good but majority of the cast was just there for cool fight scenes.
It is pretty bad when Hawkeye from the Avengers had more of a character than the future characters.
And for the love of god, please get the X2 scriptwriter back.
And someone reign in Singer's visual aesthetics opinion.
I think I haven't watched (or I just can't remember watching) the last X-Men main-line movie. Should I watch it before I see this one in two days or does it explain the last movies plot well enough for me so I can follow the happenings on screen?

The Last Stand.You...don't need to watch it
Edit: Wait you need to specify which movie you're talking about
