If you want to see people's impressions who imported the jp version, here's the OT. From what I read before, the combat is just really not great, but there are definitely first hand impressions there to read.

To be fair, I really want to give this game a shot. But near $30 is far out of impulse buy territory unless at least one person posts good impressions of it.

You know what a few other people said about Persona 3 and Persona 4? It's better if it was a VN.

I honestly want to give this a chance but yeah the price is kinda sticking out. I'll try to find reviews and gameplay descriptions before I bite the bullet.

Edit: Please buy the Muramasa DLCs they're very good especially with the sale going on.

Hey, every console has it's purpose. My vita is for all these awesome japanese localizations and indies and my Wii U is for the majesty that is local 4 player Mario Kart and Smash. That is, it would be if Nintendo would ever repair mine and send it back, they received my console on the 25th of April and I still don't have it back...

Except the battle system is Persona is actually fun and rewarding.

Yes, Golden and P3P were a bit too easy due to gameplay modifications that didn't come with balance fixes but the originals were fine difficulty wise imo and no matter how many times I play them I never get sick of the battle and fusion system.

I can't believe we're actually comparing the quality of Mind Zero to Persona games though.

and when they do make games that has options such as that, they all suck. At least Nintendo is there to fill in that niche

Sly 2 and 3 are suprisingly better than the original Slys port on Vita, they're all really great compared to what we've been getting from first party PS2 Vita ports so far though.

It is pretty much the only thing written on the packaging. I don't think I have ever seen a game with such lazy packaging.

Yeah, the Sly games really scratch that itch (although 2, 3 and Thieves in Time are much more different to the original) so it's nice to have all of them on a handheld.
