Install VLC and Livestreamer and then save the Onionfrog's code in Notepad as a .bat file using the "all files" type.

Edit: Seems a little more GPU intensive than just twitch. Had to put it on the monitor powered by my good video card to get rid of artifacts.

I wish I could be more hype for MKX, but I didn't care much for MK9 despite loving most of the OG games (MK1-MK4). I hope they retain the feel of the OG games more in MKX..

I don't really care for the gameplay, I'm in it to see what type of treatment the visuals get art-wise and effect-wise. NRS aren't technical wizards or anything, but I think we'll get a better idea of what a next gen fighting game could look like as opposed to using a rushed launch title with 9 months of dev time.

The FGC has the most documentaries of anything on the planet.

And most of them pretty much follow the same type of story.

Does it work on OSX?

Yes. Livestreamer is based in Python and Python comes packaged with OSX. OSX also comes with an installation program for Python called easy_install.

So all you need to do to install livestreamer is open up a terminal window and type:

easy_install livestreamer

If you need to install VLC, you can get it here.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the story mode the most too. I always liked the MK lore. I also want to see if they're gonna just use the best MK4-MKA characters and abandon the rest for new characters, or try to "redeem" all of them...although personally I see no way at all how they'd be able to do so with some, like say, Hsu Hao.

Hyped to see MKX. They still have a lot of room to catch up to everyone else in some areas, but are leaders in some areas too.

Also about all the FGC documentaries, I think there needs to be something to let people catch up, when they can't watch events live. There's a lot that you miss out on with stream archives, like what was going on at the time on twitter and forums and other streams at the same time. Documentaries seem a bit excessive but maybe a monthly version of NBA action complete with top 10 plays.
