The Fire Emblem in the games Ike appears gives off a blue flame. I believe that's why he's called that.

I think Sakurai had that in at one point and decided against it, because he felt giving Ike zoning capabilities made his playstyle unfocused.

Miiverse posts are lighting up with "why aren't Ike's flames blue?" 5 bucks and a doe say by the time the game comes out Sakurai listens and changes it.

Hopefully you can customize his Eruption to the Shockwave.
The most broken character I've seen in a fighting game is Ivan Ooze from the Super Nintendo Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers game, he can fly around the screen and break out of hit stun with an invincible move that starts combos. I am a bit disappointed so far that Ike seems unchanged but I don't doubt it's possible that he's been buffed in some way. Still hope for a better quickdraw and for his nair to be useable offstage.
And of course shockwave as a custom special.
I wasn't being too serious in that question. But yeah, screw MK.

I liked the super armor on this move, and the hit box I guess.
It was easy to troll bad or over aggressive players with.

See you guys talking about costume move sets, I think we'll need to unlock them through achievements. Like we did in KI:U to unlock weapons, Sakurai loves it.
