That's what I thought. I never believed they were going to make that date without expanding. It seemed to ambitious for a team for that size and given their development history. When they recently announced that they were just going into full development, that's all I needed to know. Looks awesome though.

I just hope that Rockstar doesn't release RDR 2 on the same day. It's a shame that Alan Wake got train wrecked like that.

Since AAA games now cost on average $60 million or more to develop and market, it seems like a rather wise decision to delay a game if a company believes that their game is not good enough to make a return on their investment.
It's me or it took a downgrade already when comparing with the older media?

Not seeing the "big leap" graphically with The Order. Looks about on par to me. Is this running on the same engine as Alan Wake?

Welp, Lord Phil did say they had so much for E3 that they had to move stuff out. Quantum Break is the first real confirmation we have of that.

All versions of the game have that effect.
They need to stir more interest in Europe so I could see them actually hosting one this year rather than the small thing they did last year. I would be perfectly fine with them holding some game reveals for 2015 titles until Gamescom.

Funny that no one pointed this article before, because in the VGX event itself they didnt announced a release date. That statement was far away from a release date announcement. More like a mistake.

This looks incredible. It's a shame I will never get to play it, though. I'm not buying another system just for a few exclusives.

is the whole game in 50 shades of grey with flits of reds and oranges thrown in? it's not very impressive from a visuals standpoint; maybe the story will be better.
Unless I'm mistaken, no release date was ever given so I'm not sure why they're referring to it as a delay.
Anyway, given all the spinning plates involved with the live-action show and all, it does not surprise me that it's not coming for a while. It's gonna be so worth the wait, though. I absolutely love cinematic action games.

How do you people not know that the protagonist has photophobia? Everyone that knows anything about video games knows that Jack Joyce suffers from severe PP and has to battle it throughout his time travel.
He's the opposite of Alan Wake. Where Wake used light to heal and conquer his foes....Monarch uses light, explosions, and police cars to slow down Jack Joyce.

It's a cool trick where they interpolate 2 different normal maps to achieve that kind of cloth wrinkle movement. Looks great for small details like that.

Who mentioned playing? You mentioned that ISS "looks" better, not me. All I did was counter that with comments based on the look of Quantum Break. Its OK, after all QB is coming a full year after ISS so it is allowed to look better, which it does
I think you are referring to someone else, because I never mentioned infamous besides in responding to your post.
It's still doesn't take away that it was implied as being released this year after all MS is the publisher so MS staff will know where abouts it will be releasing. If it was TBA then it will be different.
He's not really wrong Quantum Break and Kinect Sports rivals will be two games that have been delayed on XB1.
