PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | June 2014

For those who have a PS4 or PC here, you got to get this game. It's well worth the $20 dollars and just a blast to play. I'll probably do a review in the review thread.

PixelJunk Shooter on my Vita... Can't fucking wait!!! If only Eden would make the transition also!

Would also be in for Valiant Hearts, but going to wait and see if Ubisoft pull another Child of Light and have a delayed Vita release, if so will buy then

With PS4 + getting two games a month now every month this is VERY likely to show up on the service soon so I think I'll wait.

Ghost of Sparta is a good change of pace from the rpg-ing I have been doing. Game has a better flow to it than 3 so far, although Thera's Bane is annoying as it can obstruct your vision making it hard to see enemy attacks so I can parry.

PixelJunk shooter on Plus is so awesome, and I'll actually play through trine 2 this time. I snag worms depending on reviews. Isn't Sniper Elite 3 out on the 27th?

Soon? Absolutely not. Eventually? Hardly likely.

If they continue along with their pattern, one game will be a new game, and the second will be anything from a random indie title to a AAA blockbuster. You only have to look at the OP to see just how deep the well they can pick from is getting, fast. Besides that, SuperGiantGames has no precedent for giving out their game (GWG) or even permanently discounting them (Steam for Bastion is $15). Transistor is what amounts to a hallmark indie title and it's not going down in price anytime soon and will likely never be on PS+. If you're waiting to buy it because you think it'll be free one day, don't. If you just don't think it's worth $20, please say as much and after that is your own prerogative.

Totally prepared to eat crow come Summer Sale PSN time but I doubt it'll happen if sales patterns hold like they have because of next gen console milking.

Side thing, I don't think Sony is going to PS+ too many of its indie gems (V2X) or high profile smaller games (Helldivers). It'd devalue an entire caste of games sort of like how the Puppeteer was dead on arrival because of many things including "PS-Plus-Wait-itus". With PS4 PS+ they get a clean slate and they're already setting precedent with a new not released on PS4 before game every month. If Sony's smart, they never ever put Knack up on PSN so they can keep people like me in check so we can't predict everything and not buy games ahead of time.

I really can't see this getting thrown on Plus anytime in the near future. I know that "two a month" for PS+ seems like a lot, especially when we're not even a full seven months into this generation, but if you look at the number of announced releases coming down the pipeline-- hell, even just indies-- there really is a lot of games coming our way that Sony could easily leverage for PS+ without feeling like they need to go near the higher profile games, indie or no.

As for Transistor specifically, this game deserves your cash. If you don't have money for it now, I get that; I can see it going on sale at some point this year if that makes a difference for you.

Surviving on the bottom of the wall!

This month there's nothing I want to get outside of PJ(which I'll get for free) and The Swapper on Vita...hoping for a surprise release fo Joe Danger and Munch's Oddyssee (lol)

edit: and I seriously hope the Olliolli patch is out this month

New thread! Unless by some miracle Binding Rebirth gets released this month, nothing for me. Just a continued Borderlands binge with Spelunky breaks and trophy hunting. Ratchet Vita trilogy next month, I thought Jak was fine so...

Argh, now I'm at the end part of P3P where it's all about grinding.

Kinda wish I've set the difficulty to easy now.

Oh wow I'd missed that. Semi exciting stuff!

I'll confess, I pretty much ignore this thread whenever people talk about the newest obscure JRPG... Just not my taste.

Eh, it's not even about the Jrpgs for me. Had a lot of fun with various rhythm games, visual novels as well as some action games.

Yeah! I'm back in wall of shame top5!

Got to renew me PS+ subscription next week... But it seems I'm hooked to Toukiden again. Clearing Phase 4 and some Chapter 6 missions.
