Justin Bieber exposed using n-word again.

He was repeating a song he heard. If the comedian who made the parody was black and was using that word as many black artists tend to do (as opposed to some white dude making the parody for racist reasons), then I think some form of the Dr. Dre rules should apply here. If people try to point to this and call Bieber a racist or something they are reeeally reaching.

I'll believe his PR spin when I see the "random video online".

They want it out now so it all gets lumped together as one racist "incident" rather than spreading out over time and becoming a narrative. People will forget more easily this way.

I'm more surprised by how terribly he is singing it. For all his flaws, I thought Bieber was supposed to have a good voice

What a mess.

I don't know what to say about this expect whatever hes going to get from this video, he deserves it

Having recorded it and having it leak on the internet, he just needs to stand and take the criticism. It's a shit thing to do for laughs, shittier for recording it. By this getting out, he's actually giving ammunition to both sides. Shoulda known better. Singing this song as a joke? What fucking insensitive, stupid-ass thing to do. Another reason why young teens are a terrifying classification of people.

I can't believe I'm somewhat defending Justin Bieber as I don't like the guy at all, but in this context, he was only a 14 year old kid having an immature laugh (because its so obscene) with his friends. Stupid yes, but it wasn't planned to be aired to the world as actual meaningful hate.

I get what you're saying and I largely agree, but at this point it could go either way. Telling a racial joke for shock factor, I've seen that happen lots of times. Singing a horrifying song with a shit-eating grin is harder for me to wave off.

I find it interesting how all of this came to light from a UK newspaper with ties to Simon Cowell after One Direction's very own N-word scandal!

Wow.

And people will still defend him.
Of course. His insane fan base would defend him if he joined the hammerskins and murdered people.
Though I do agree he was 14. 12-14 year olds are probably the most vile human beings. What's important is that they grow up and realize they were awful shits.

Well, I am just glad Justin Bieber wasn't 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19 when he said it because then it might have been a problem.

How about camp "referencing killing niggers and being in the KKK = racist"?

Growing up in Stratford with a bible thumping mother, I'm sure he was at least a little bit racist at some point. But he was also a kid. Most people change when they become adults, and someone like Bieber moreso considering the massive rise to stardom that he's had. He's not a country bumpkin anymore.

If he was still talking like this, it would of course be worrisome.

I wonder what we'd be saying if this was like the dudes from Lady Antebellum, even "at 14". lol. Justin got a "pass" though, so idk. This is a hard one yall.

He's a singer? Even joking around, shouldn't he be more on key than that just naturally and through training non-stop?

Anyway, on topic, the first time I was like "ah it's just a kid being silly" but now that thinking is fading and while I can't imagine him being racist due to the people he's around and the influences he has, I dunno. He might be all day with that shit. Or maybe he was and now he's different? Who knows.
