I'm making a point of waking up 2AM my time to watch E3 and then trying to get home from work earlier than usual for the tourney, so I really hope it's at least on the same level as last years.

People were disappointed by the delays and the execution of the motion controls, yes, but you're still wrong about a lot. Once again, no one really thought about motion control Zelda beyond a "wouldn't it be cool if..." subject before the reveal of the Wiimote (even in a thread about possibly moving it to the Revolution before then, only one or two people even kinda mention gyro control), and, even by E3 2006, only the bow & arrow and other such aiming functions were meant to be motion controlled as the sword was still mapped to the B trigger, so it wasn't like they were trying to deliver some fanboy wet dream of being able to swing your sword by swinging around the controller as much as it was making sure the Wii had a strong launch lineup. If you have quotes from people in 2005 being disappointed that the TP didn't have motion controls, please point me to them, because I'm looking though the GAF threads from that time, and finding nothing but hype.

Edit: And the thread from when it was mentioned/revealed that TP would have motion controls? Not very positive.

In Japan time (7pm thursday) there's a stream link in /vp/. Subbing is done by Pocket Monsters Edwark but is usually a week or two late.

Ludwig is best koopa kid forever. So cool. I'd love if the koopa kids made an appearance in the background for the Mario U stage, or as assist trophies. I don't think any of them deserve to be playable though.
