Oh Glorious day. Also, I believe this is the first confirmation that the 3DS version is going to be playable.

They have 15 Wii U units and a similar number of 3DSs. It would be kind of amazing if they could get most of them set up with Smash.

i can tell some best buys will have the system/game set up right when the store opens, i want the coin so bad

with just 1 of 2 stores within 100 miles of Boston, its gonna be nuts

I just love how suddenly Brooklyn can be talked up as being part of NYC (you know, like it should be/is) instead of just "Brooklyn". This is coming from someone who's lived here all 24 years of his life.

On topic, I've got to work out my list of things I want checked soon.

I'm personally fine with Queens being regulated to forever "not NYC" status so we never have to deal with the same amount of tourists hogging all the good spots (and speeding up gentrification because the value of everything suddenly goes up).

I just came back from a private Nintendo World event where I played the game. All I can suggest is to not use Rosalina without getting acquainted to her in videos first. She takes some getting used to.

Game is great, BTW. Seeing it and playing it in person is faster than you'd think from watching the streams and whatnot.

Hey so just to let you know I gave my local store at Deptford NJ (who isn't on nintendo's site but is on best buy's site) a call and she said they were indeed having it today and that there were already people lined up for it to start at 4.

So make sure you give your local store a call before you head out!

I was really hoping they go with Gamestop again like Mario Kart. Best Buy does not really care about games. The closest one to me in New Orleans and I cannot go because having company over. In this day and age, you think they could just post a demo on eShop during E3 and then take it down once it is over?

I went at 3 PM but I was number 37 I didn't get the coin paper forum so I left. I was not waiting 2 hours just for 1 round of Smash.

So you pick up the coin when you pick up the game. They are unlimited. You can actually bring controllers in but they have to put a sticker on them.

This line is crazy it was already wrapping around the building. A lot of people are arriving.

Just played the adventure mode thing on the 3ds version while in the line. Fox.

Muscle memory was a huge problem, especially as a non 3ds owner. The controls were fine otherwise. Also, no dash dancing. Gross.

When I got there at the Chapel Hill location in Ohio the line was nearly out the door. So I just watched other people play the demo.

Saw some funny glitches at the demo too. Kirby's FS didn't finish and Little Mac was stuck floating in the air till Kirby sucked him in. Then during a Sudden Death Match the Samus just fell right through the floor right as it started and lost.

Just got back from playing this.

I tried out Mega Man, Greninja, and Sonic.

Mega Man felt weird to me because at first I kept trying to play him like it was an actual Mega Man game due to instinct.

I kept jumping with me thinking that Mega Man was gonna just stay there in place, and kept pressing A as if he was going to just shoot! Managed to sort that out later.

Greninja's side B feels weird. It seems like it's like Fox's side B, but the range feels short on it.

Sonic is perfect for Smash Run on 3DS. Being able to run through that stage makes me feel like I'm playing a 2D Sonic game. I love it.

As you hold it, a second shadow moves outward from him. When you let go, he teleports and attacks the position the shadow is at. It goes pretty far.

Went to my Best Buy in Asheville, NC and there is a MASSIVE line. Solid 80-100 people. I didn't wait around in it but that's an awesome sign for Nintendo and the Wii U.
