Bayonetta was boring.
Pretty much, but Indie games and some great studios like Valve/NaughtyDog make me believe.
People complaining about the lack of games for the PS4 and Xbox One have bad taste, have amnesia or are 10 years old. Console transitions have always been like this and always will. There has always, from every single leap from one generation to the next, a year time frame where it seems that few games are released. People forget that the games they are eagerly awaiting are still in development. It simply takes time. It's not like they've had finalized tool sets and dev kits for five years. They aren't going to makes games on old platforms either. Most of you hate the idea of last/ cross gen titles anyway. So just be patient. Hell, no one told you to buy your PS4 or Xbox One day one. You made that decision knowing damn well what was available and what wasn't. By this Fall and beyond there will be plenty of games to play.
Japanese games >>>>>>>>> Western games.
There are a lot of Weeaboos on GAF. So... maybe not.Is that even controversial :^)
Is that even controversial :^)
Actually, that's the common opinion.
That being said:
I prefer Brawl over Melee
Linear games>>>>open world sandbox games
Sonic is better character than Mario.
what's so brilliant about different colors and the fact that your choices made in the trilogy didn't matter at all?ME3's original ending was brilliant!
Yeah, there are great Western Studios. Sadly, most Western games just lacked the fun and being less too serious stuff that they once had. I even enjoyed the Crash Bandicoot days of ND more than their recent outputs (including TLOU). Probably I'm just not so in-love with chasing realism in games, which is why most Japanese games are my escape to reality.raises ultimate flame shield!
I'm a competitive player and to me Brawl > 64 > Melee, and I think the Brawl hate from the Melee-only people is childish and cringe-worthy.Same here. I have 0 interest in the competitive part of Smash, I just want more characters and more stages. Brawl gave me that, so I was more than fine with it.
Your choices did matter in the form of war assets. I loved the endings because even though they were very similar the way they played out, each choice points the galaxy in an entirely new direction. Furthermore the final three choices have alot to do with the themes that resonate throughout all three games. Themes about fatalism, recurring cycles, relationship between man and machine, father and son, creator created. All those are there to certain levels, and despite how much of a badass your character becomes by the end of the trilogy you still can't make things exactly the way you want them, which plays into the themes above.what's so brilliant about different colors and the fact that your choices made in the trilogy didn't matter at all?

Not a controversial opinion at all. Most open world games are all filler, fetch side quests and boring areas to make the map feel bigger.
Fallout 3, New Vegas, Elder scrolls, Skyrim and Saints row 3, are the only ones I've enjoyed enough to get all achievements or most of the trophies.
Japanese games >>>>>>>>> Western games.
I thought EC was unnecessary. People wanted EC because they felt their was no resolution for their favorite characters. What many didn't/don't understand is that the majority of ME3 was spent saying goodbye and resolving the issues pertaining to your squadmates, bringing about that resolution. As for the ending, most the main issues like the Genophage were resolved at that point and numerous other questions about varying stories and characters were alluded too; hinting at a resolution, but their ultimate fate being decided by your choices during the final few mins.Glad to see other people who think like me. What about the Extended Cut ? I think it made it a lot better.
Or conversely:
Western Games >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Japanese games.
I honestly don't think I've ever played a Japanese game I have enjoyed :3 That's not to say they are bad, just that they are not my cup of tea.
The best rpg combat is dragon's dogma. DD more polish be the best thing in a long time.

You might ask "What happened to Commander Bailey when Harbinger and his pals attacked the Citadel?" I forget where but either in the codex or side conversation it is mentioned that the Citadel has numerous "safe houses" of sorts where people can go to incase of trouble. Implying that it is very possible for Bailey, a man with knowledge of the Citidel considering he worked for C-Sec, to have known and gone to one of these "safe houses". So unless the Citadel exploded when you chose "destroy" there is a decent chance he is alive.
Things like the above don't need to be explained in a slide show or narration in some forced epilogue. Bailey had his own resolution though ambiguity, leaving it up the the player to decideweather or not he survived.
Hope my rambling makes sense.![]()
I know. Its an opinion but..Nintendo has not made a good game since the Gamecube generation.
Edit: Excluding handheld games.
It is. Or it should be. :<e: especially the cutesy stuff is so disgustingly annoying, but i doubt that's a controversial opinion

Cutesy things are my favourite thing in life. And you find that disgusting.
I don't care what nationality something is from because I think that people of every nationality can make wonderful things. But cuteness is my greatest joy in life.
