99% chance it will have hold back to block option.

Is there a curleh thread?
Spring Fighter is on....there's a tournament this weekend?

MK losing block button would be losing a key mechanic of MK games.
Wasn't scorpion in injustice a good example of why directional blocking wouldn't work in MK?
Eliza possibly come to the beta this weekend is also super exciting since I've tried my best to avoid seeing footage about her. I bet Horace's VA must have cost over $9000.Lab Zero & Autumn Games adding $5000 to the pot of the Skullgirls Encore side tournament at EVO. Pretty cool how they're funneling proceeds from their merch sales back into the community (IIRC this isn't the first time they've done that either?).
They would take it out for accessibility, sort of like the option in Injustice. Didn't seem to bother the community much, and hey, Injustice is probably the best example of good combat mechanics in an NRS/Midway game too. Net positive. Though yeah, it is a big part of the game's identity. No, that was just people not knowing how to block in general. That being said, losing the block button "just because" would piss off the entire fanbase.
I actually don't think Capcom went that far to cannibalize the song.Hmm, does anyone else hear the similarity between USF4 menu theme and the 1943 mission 6 boss theme??
Cannibalized!

I find it weird that people are getting mad at Smug for what he said about Sanford last night, it was basically the usual pop off he does but now everyone is assuming thats why Sanford doesn't want to be in KONY even though hes just sick or something.

Sanford straight up linked a vid of the pop off on his twitter account
Actually his teleport in the beginning was ridiculous and the character was really braindead. REAAALLLLLYYY braindead. He got overly nerfed but the teleport couple with his air normals were legitimate gripes.
Accessibility for who? People that probably won't play MK/NRS games anyway judging by Injustice? People wanted block button out of an NRS game, they got it, they still didn't play it because they dislike NRS games for more than just "easy mode" block button.
More or less, a lot of the gripe with NRS games is that the formula hasn't deviated from the original game in any kind of revolutionary way. Another argument is the whole NRS games look clumsy and clunky, which is an argument used for KI as well.

KI looks very fluid compare to NRS games.
The first one is....weird, and I've personally never heard of that being a reason.
The things I've heard people hating NRS games for: Strings/combo system/juggles instead of links, "feels" clunky, poorly animated, too dark, sound too low, block button, universal air normals, zoning is too strong, constant patches, poorly modeled women, dash blocking.
A block button removal isn't gonna have people flocking to MKX.
You have hit the nail on the head, bruh. NRS gets hella patch happy, especially since they want to make sure that their game is balanced, but the game gets more UNBALANCED, and people never get a chance to adapt to changes made.

Wait, what? Who thinks MK9 or Injustice are more unbalanced after the patches? Do you even play or follow these games?
I feel as if I meant to say that the game gets too well balanced because they're patching the game so often.
I'm not trying to use unbalanced in the traditional sense of the word. Trying to balance a game so often can cause an unintentional tip in the opposite direction if not careful, and that's what I feel happens when NRS gets so patch happy in the beginning cycles of their games.

Unless Capcpom's localization team is working on that game (Pres start to join on the character select screen), that's been deemed fake as shit.
