I just remembered Will, Norm, and Gary did a video stream once when they were on they way to a conference - back in the Whiskey Media days. I think will went tech crazy and duct taped come stuff to the top of the car, and suction cupped camera to car widows. Thought that was very impressive at the time.

But it means buying a hotspot and subbing to a 4G plan for as long as Verizon wants to fuck you (or $200 for no contract). The tested guys already had one so it made sense. Not really worth it just for the drive stream.

I am really not trying to be a dick about it.I am more interested in it as a technical exercise than anything else. I'd really just like to see it work flawlessly so someone could boast they got it to work flawlessly.

If I can comprehend well enough what is being said at the actual conferences with the GB guys talking over it, I'll do the same for the Sony conference. If not, I'll watch the Sony conference without the commentary and then watch the GB stream of it at another time.
