I'll be doing the same I think, I'll watch the Microsoft and Sony conferences on my own, and have Giantbomb commentary for the 3 others.

It's not currently on the schedule, but the fourth one is Nintendo on Tuesday morning, right? That should be an interesting one, reactions wise.

Whatever ones are on TV I will probably watch on Spike and GiantBomb at the same time. The ones that are not I might just watch the reactions later.

Uploading the first part now. 7.5 hours. 11.7 GB.

Came in during the last 14 minutes of the drive. Fattony is doing God's work.

Jeff said he'll upload the archive as soon as he gets to some good internet. That will have the missing audio from signal drops should anyone want to re-listen to a conversation whole.

I've been taking a break from GB content in the past couple of months, but E3 is going to be a great point to jump back in.

Still gonna miss Ryan tho. He was a great host for this event.

If you want to see if it could work flawlessly then you should go ahead and try it instead of convincing others to do it with their own money.

I don't think posting a random thought in this thread is tantamount to me trying to convince Jeff to buy equipment with his own money, but if you want to be antagonistic about it then keep going, you are doing a great job.

I don't follow GiantBomb much, but love their conference streams. I basically end up watching them twice as a result. The first time through, I watch the vanilla conference, and then rewatch it via the GiantBomb version.

Their PS Meeting one is still my favorite.

Was so disappointed last E3 when they didn't do that since they were actually attending the conferences, but yeah, this is like the best news for me. Totally was not expecting that, was expecting the next time to be during gamescom.

I'm fine with a plain-ass meeting room, as long as it's safer, easier to get to (which is probably why they got 60-70 guests coming), and has solid internet to stream from. Yes there will be a lack of "oh that crazy place we stayed at" stories, and everyone who shows up starting their segment with five minutes of "man, this place, right?" It's worth the trade off.

Think you'll bring this up for a third time next year?

Saying "Jeff could set up a more stable stream if he just buys these things" is saying something that everyone already knows, and something I'm sure Jeff knows too.

It's like if someone says "You know if you just dieted you could lose some weight". Yeah, you're right, you're just stating something, but it's still presented as "This is what you should do" even if the direct statement isn't "This is what you should do."

Then you went on to say "I'm actually interested in it as a technical exercise" which I still stand by that if that's the case then you should consider doing it yourself rather than telling others things they could do to satisfy your own curiosities when doing so would have a pretty sizable expense to them.

You care way too much about a silly and harmless comment. Give it a rest.

I think he gets the message. No need to drive the point into the ground.

I'm never going to be able to remember the episode. But it was this music that played, the medley you hear a lot when in non-combat parts of the game. It caused an almost Pavlovian response in me as I reached to turn off my DS that wasn't even with me.
Cheers for that, sounds weird. Wonder if anyone at Channel 4 actually paid for that...

Just listened to the AM show from last week and Patrick mentioned they may have a couple guys from CD Projekt. Sweet!

The one thing that sucks (for me) about the Post E3 podcasts is the lack of sleep I will be getting.

I may catch flak for "it being sad" but I always make sure to have some holiday time saved up for E3 week so I don't have to worry about stuff like this.

Sorry, I guess I will find another thread to bring up my issue about a 7 hour cross country drivestream in. Oh wait...

I'm amazed mentioning this causes so much hassle. In none of the posts this year or last did I ever criticize Jeff or his guests for what they provided on the Mixlr stream. I just pondered that it might be possible to iron out the problems that happen - that is all.

In these same GB threads people have pondered "why is the video player on the site broke," complained about bitrate issues of the videos, complained about a lack subscriber content, personally attacked Alex, and much more. Many of these were direct criticisms of the site - I have never took part in any of them. However, the time I just wonder out loud that it might be possible to improve something (not complaining about it), it is apparently the worst thing I could ever do.

I am close to invoking Godwin's law

Fucking hell guys. This is gaming Christmas. Arguing here is tantamount to pissing on carol singers from your window.

No shame in it.

A couple years back myself and a couple old uni friends who are now scattered over Europe all took a week off to just meet up and play games together.

Videogames man, serious business.

Thanks to everyone trying to make this available for download. Some of us dopes have been at work all day.

Buckle up, motherfuckers. It's E3 time!

This is our Superbowl if you stop to think about it. E3 is my favorite time of the year.
