At this point I don't really care about rumors or Sony denials. If the game isn't shown or even mentioned at the E3 press conference it may as well be cancelled in my mind - I honestly couldn't give a crap about it anymore. It's at the level of FFXV and HL3 for me at this point, I can't be bothered to give a shit, I've got too many other things to worry about in real life and plenty of games to occupy my gaming time. Of course, it would be nice if some of those games were games I was actually playing on my PS4 though.

What amazes me more is that the story was written by the site's editor-in-chief Steve Butts. It lacked any notation that they called Sony for confirmation, or even asked Sony for comment. As a small time gaming site runner, I still even try to get an official comment on rumors from game companies.
